All these 13-14 point wins. Sure has been a struggle.

It is hard to play at a blowout-level offense for an entire game against a talented team. I'll take their killer instinct and the win.

LOL. Well, we gotta have something to biitch about. We've scored 80+ points in back to back games and 6 out of the last 11 games. That requires some eye rubbing...

It's freaky how often they nail it...but live-RPI had this as a 13.1 point UC victory.

Hopefully Memphis can duplicate their second half type play at SMU the last game of year. Never can make myself root for Ohio State very often but will hope for them to take down Wisconsin tonight.

Mick told his main man troy to start playing stall ball with 4min left in 1st half

I don't believe that, Bulldog...we scored 51 in first half. When was stall ball in the picture?

my complaint with the team this year is it seems like the other team drives the lane so easily on us now....like we aren't quick enough to get in front of people now for some reason. In that past, you just didn't drive the lane on UC. Now, seems like people slash to the basket easily against us.

Up by 20 they lose interest and over time allow an opponent to climb their way back into the game.
Not keeping their feet on the gas has happened a number of times.
It will bite them in the a$$ in the tourney.

Evans, troy, kj and Clark all too nice. They don't want embarrass nobody by 50. Cumberland and Washington cutt throats

They do seem like really nice kids which I like but they need to get a killer instinct on the court.

They had a killer instinct before halftime. I get it. It's tough to stay fired up when you go into half with a blowout at home.

I told guys on the conference board this was going to get sloppy and tight in the second half.

It's not tough if you're hungry and want to crush teams and not just hold on to get the W.

I'm glad we won. The other alternative isn't as good.

On to UCF. I have a feeling that will be a slugfest and probably a single digit game in the 50's, 60's

Let's be honest. How many of us at Halftime suspected the game would get close in the second half?

That said, I saw a lot of nice things on offense this game, and it is REALLY nice to see the free throw shooting coming back.

Right they cannot step on the other teams throat. The 92 team would kill teams that they got down by 20.

We have the number one 2 pt FG% defense in the country. So you are probably just putting too much weight on tonights poor defensive performance.

Yep not having the killer disposition can make any game interesting. I really like Cumberland in when we bog down; he had some nice plays and assists tonight when things were tight.

Yep. Therein lies the difference between this team and so many others--guys off the bench that can deliver at critical moments.

A very special season. A big job for Mick or any coach to keep these guys focused on the prize the next three games. At the top of my list: Houston at home to preserve the undefeated home season and extend the home court winning streak. That's something our seniors will never forget. Hey, let's just get greedy and win out for at least a share of the regular season conference championship to add "2017" to the south wall banners.

The guys should be in all-out championship mode, because that's what they are playing for from here on out. Have to win these next 3 to win the regular season championship, then win another 3 in a row to win the tournament championship. After that, all bets are off about what a team this deep, experienced, and talented can do in the NCAA tournament with that kind of momentum.

Also, I do believe a 31-3 Cincinnati team could sneak on to the 3-seed line.

Kenpom loved the offense, hated the defense. Up to 36 in offense and down to 15 on defense. Been a long time since we've been in the top 10% of the country offensively.
