“We want documentation of past, current, and future student activism and this should be a permanent space that is staffed, and has resources for students to organize and share resources,” the demand letter states.

Leaders of “Students4Justice” did not respond to requests from The College Fix seeking comment. Campus spokesman Rick Fitzgerald told The Fix that at “this point, our colleagues in Student Life have been working with the Students4Justice leaders to better understand their concerns. This is our normal process.”

The demands caught the attention of the Michigan Review, an independent student news outlet which first reported on the issue — and criticized it.

“The same organization that criticizes the University for failing to create ‘an environment that engages in diversity, equity and inclusion,’ is calling upon the University to undermine these ideals by facilitating a sort of de facto segregation? One where space and resources are designated for students based solely on the color of their skin?” the Review wrote.

How did this generation get so stupid, so fast? My guess, this is what happens when you teach history with an agenda instead of factually and when you preach victim hood over progress. It happens when the only president most of this kids are aware of has preached to them how bad race relations are in this country.

This is just a sad situation. This is not going to end the way these SJW want it to. They are going to spend their young, productive years being mad and miserable, fighting windmills, when they should be having the best times of their life.

And it's not exactly like a 21 year old African American student at he University of Michigan is oppressed. The ones who needed preferential treatment for admission got it. The ones that needed financial assistance got it. They are attending one of the highest ranked public institutions in the country, which will afford them opportunities limited only by their own work ethic and desire. They have the opportunity to excel and position themselves where they can effectuate real change if they want. Instead they want to spend 4 years being warriors when they should be focused on their development.

Absolutely, most that go there are privileged, them and the Asian kids at Michigan State are often very wealthy and have had pampered lives.

I mean even so those kids still had to be way smarter than average to get in, it makes no sense that they can't understand what exactly is wrong about what they are doing, then again the majority of the students will walk into traffic without looking...
