I understand your point, but I'm not sure the President should get involved in police matters at such a level, especially in that he'd also be encouraging people to repeat the actions and then claim they're being singled out if he doesn't also step in and let THEM go.
Why shouldn't they face the WHOLE consequences of their actions?
