Only trouble is, I may miss the first one of the 2003 season this Thursday. :frown: I'm gonna try, but right now my schedule is tentative. My buddies from Phoenix and Los Angeles are flying in Thursday some time to stay with us, then we are driving to Auburn Friday. That's not the problem, they can come with me to Hooter's if my schedule works out. As it stands right now, I have to work Thursday evening, but a colleague of mine is trying to work his schedule around to come in for me. He has to close on a house that day, but if he gets done in time he'll work for me and me and my friends can come out there. Will let you know, but right now it's iffie.

By the way, they are huge USC Trojan fans, but love the Rebels, too. They are coming to the Ole Miss-Arkansas game later this Fall.

I just realized...my parents are coming to town on Thursday. I don't know if I'll be able to make it either. I'm going to have to try and get skillful with this one...I'll work on it and let y'all know.

Looks like I'm out for this week. I hope all those who show for the first meeting have a great time. I am tentatively scheduling the second meeting for the Thursday before the home opener with Louisiana-Monroe. I believe that is Thursday the 11th, so in addition to talking football, we can toast our fallen brothers and sisters from two years ago.

I have to go back to Peoria for Rob's wedding and I'm flying out next Thursday. Otherwise, I'd say let's meet then.

Is anyone going to make the Hooter's meeting? I'll be leaving the rig around 8:30/9:00 in the morning. Anyone that thinks they may make it, please post a response by in the morning. I need to know before I risk getting a ticket from the state police on my way home tomorrow. If there isn't going to be anybody there, I'll take my time coming home.

I'm out unless something changes with my folks coming to town. NPR said he'd try and 10MAN said the same. As it stands right now, I don't think anyone is definite. The minute something changes though, I'll post.

I'm gonna go ahead and officially bow out this week, if for no other reason than to help Reb32 make a decision. I'm still not sure if I could've made it anyway, it was probably gonna be a game-time decision, plus I'm not sure if my buddies would feel up to going out after flying all day anyway.

Will be ready for week 3, though. Be careful on your drive, 32!

Well, I'm going to make it unanimous. I'll be in Jackson tomorrow, but I won't be at Hooters. I don't think there's another one I can make in Jacktown, and the meeting here in Elvistown at Hooters On The Mount is under suspension at this time.

I took my boys to the Hooters in Destin when the older one was 10 so that made Tyler 7. They knew what it was all about and even had their picture taken with some of the girls.
