The UConn at UC game is sold out.

Th SMU Tulsa game will be interesting to watch.

Memphis at UCF is a good matchup.

Uconn, your name still brings people in (ok, that, and we're honoring the 1992 final four team). You and Memphis still draw great crowds here in Cincy. Do better next year.

Thanks. We will try. I wonder what Cincy's record would be if Caupain and Clark had been out since the first week of the season? Probably similar to UCONN. Try getting out of the first weekend of the tournament this year please.

Really? Tulane at ECU...and you wonder at "No TV?"

It's a wonder they don't just flip a coin to determine the result of this game and spare everyone the misery.

Nah, we're deeper than that. As you're about to discover.

AAC History Lesson

AAC Tourney:
2014: #4 UCONN 58, #1 UC 56
2015: #6 UCONN 57, #3 UC 54
2016: #5 UCONN 103, #4 UC 97

NCAA Tourney Record:
2014: UCONN 6-0, UC 0-1
2015: UC 1-1, UCONN DNP
2016: UCONN 1-1, UC 0-1

Basically, UC needs to try to suck less when it matters the most.

So far, every ECU game that has not been on an ESPN Network (except ESPN3) or CBSSN has been on the ASN over the air. The Tulane game today will be on TV here in Raleigh on both WRDC (28) and WLFL-2 (22.2).

I anticipate a tough game today at UCF for the beat-up, weary Tigers.

There were a couple non-conference that I believe were not on ASN either

Yes, that is correct. I was speaking only of conference games and left out that qualifier.

A couple road non-conference games didn't even have internet coverage.

Connecticut's best road win this season was over Loyal Marimount. They have also lost 5 straight games at 5th 3rd Arena. A lot of forces working against the UConn Crying Ollie Faces...07-coffee3

Thanks UConn. Thanks to you, the AAC is currently considered the equivalent of the MVC.

UConn will probably win by double digits now.

When it comes to the big dance, Cincinnati is like the Patriot League conference tourney champ. Maybe an occasional lucky win in the first round, but most years just a one-and-done...

It's safe to say that UConn is likely not going to lose an NCAA Tournament game this season.

It's actually a kind of interest conversation to have in general. What is more impressive? A program like a VCU or GMU making a run to the Final Four but not consistently making the tournament (in GMU's case) or a program like a Cincinnati that makes the tournament consistently even if sometimes it is an overachievement that they even got in but doesn't have many deep runs.

In some sense a program like UConn is saved from going "one and done" because in years that they are not up to standard, they are REALLY not up to standard.
