Tiger Recruiting Party
Coach Norvell and his staff will be at Beale Street Landing Wednesday 5-8 for the Highland Hundred Recruiting Party. I am told the cost will be $20 and include food and beverages. Free parking at BSL, the Wagner parking lot on Beale (top of hill) and Tom Lee Parking Lot. If anyone involved knows more info--please share.

Never mind, I thought you were talking about a Lousiville-style recruiting party.

I think $20 is pretty high considering it use to be free at other locations in the past. It basically just snacks and sodas. Cash Bar for real drinks. Venue is too small unless weather permits you to go outside. It was cold last year. I will probably go - just think it is overpriced.

The $20 includes free beer. If you can put down your share of the beer, it's a pretty good deal.

too crowded? perhaps the price should be higher so there aren't so many people in the small venue.

This is put on by the Highland Hundred in support of the football program. No business or person is making any money this is a fund raiser and a party to celebrate signing day with other Tiger fans. The beer and food are all donated. The money raised goes right back into the football program.

geeze.

I will be glad to provide it if I attend. Spoke with a buddy this afternoon and we are going to see how the day goes tomorrow before deciding.

Tomorrow is looking busy, though - so don't hold it against me if I can't make it.

This year they are expanding to use both sides of the building. Food on one side and coaches later presentation on the other. There will be more than twice as much space so probably not crowded this year---but I hope it is!

The $20 will not keep me from coming. I just thought other venues were better with more room and better food for less.
