Diamond Dukes losing a lot of games in the early season. The Richmond and Maryland games earlier this season are already scheduled to be made up later this season. One game against Coppin State this weekend is lost and these 2 against Iona won't be rescheduled.

New Jersey Tech comes into H'burg next weekend for 4 games. Last weekend of non-CAA schedule.

Your statement sent a brief moment of shock until I kept reading. It originally came across as though I had missed a boat load of games that were in the "L" column.

Ahhhh. Good catch. Apologies. I should have used a different word than "losing" looking back at the way I worded it. Or, included "due to weather". Sorry about that.

Don't know if this has been posted here before, but we are in the RV category of the NCBWA poll. Our RPI took a major hit though, since we played Coppin State and lost some of the higher quality opponents on our schedule due to weather. I expect it to fall again since our next opponent is NJIT (#291 - one spot below Coppin).

The weekend series opener against NJIT has been moved up Friday from originally schedule 6pm first pitch to now a 3pm start. Rain expected Friday evening in H'burg.

Today's game moved up again - this time up an hour from 3pm to now 2pm first pitch.

Brett Johnson hits another one. This time a 2-run dinger in the btm of the 3rd to tie it 5-5.

Neither team has escaped a half-inning in the field thru 3 without giving up a run.

Tondi hits his 2nd homer. Good Guys up 6-5 btm 3rd.

Dukes will stay near the tops in the nation in HR's per game. 3 already thru 3 innings today.

The defense gave up a lot of yards today, but didn't allow NJIT into the endzone. Holding them to 2 field goals was OK. I give the defense a C- today.

The offense was so-so. Rushing game was fair. Schor made some good plays with his feet scrambling, but too many dropped passes. Tomorrow, we need to put up 35 poin....errr...runs.
