RE: JMU
I hope Coach Shaver will go get another big man for next year. With both Whitman and Knight in foul trouble, I was getting nervous to watch the game.

I had some JMU woman walk over and poke me in the chest right after we won and say, " We beat you in football"!! I thought that she was crazy.

JMU
Odd goings on with the JMU program, with Lou Rowe suspending assistant coaches Lou Deane and David Kontaxis for two games for undisclosed reasons. Insubordination being speculated. They, also, had a team manager quit before that. Between that and losing Dalembert for the season, would imagine they continue a drop the rest of the season to the bottom four with Hofstra, Delaware and Drexel.

RE: JMU
Wow. How insubordinate would you have to be to earn a suspension? Very odd times in Harrisonburg

Man, wonder what position she played? Did she look like this?
Or this?

That's because you're a decent human being. My wife and all 4 kids hate raw tomatoes with a passion. My 15 month-old daughter will eat anything but we put a diced raw tomato in her mouth and she immediately spit it out and looked at her parents like we tried to kill her.
She'll learn to hate JMU, too. Give it time.

Guys, I actually enjoy raw tomatoes. Does that mean, *gasp*, that I secretly like JMU? I'm a little worried now.

I think your spelling, grammar, and general grasp of the English language vindicate you.

Naw, it's an acquired taste, but a taste for JMU can never be acquired.

I'm in a mixed marriage, my wife, despite being a WM grad, enjoys eating raw tomatoes. In tough times (like when she ruins a perfectly good salad by adding tomatoes...and don't tell me to pick them out there's now raw tomato juice all over that lettuce, absorbed into the croutons...), we fall back on our mutual hatred of JMU.
Proud papa moment on Saturday. After coaching my 2nd graders basketball team, we run home and watch the Tribe game on TV. My eldest now knows all the player names. His favorite is Paul. Anyway, later that night, I come downstairs and he is re-watching the entire game by himself on the couch. He's watched it three times now. Made for a great Saturday.

Jealous. As a former D1 player, it eats me up that none of my sons show any interest in watching or playing sports. They are young, so maybe that changes.
Give them books, Legos, or Cub Scouts and they are in heaven. All these things are fantastic, but I wish I could watch/discuss games with my boys.
