In his press conference he said he wants to run the ball and control the clock. He has talked to Ciarocca about his system and will likely want to emulate most of it considering the personnel.
There is NO reason we shouldn't be able to run the ball well next year.
If we are effective running, Wassink will take teams apart with the pass. Some think the QB play will be an upgrade from this year. Having the ability to just hand the ball off for five means the possession pass game become available almost automatically. Our O line is going to be killer. Tight end killer. Five good backs minimum. Speed to burn with Bellamy and Eskridge.
Dudes, the outfit coming back will be the real deal and formidable. Assistants should consider themselves lucky for the opportunity to be associated with this group.

I'm telling you folks, it's time to pull a fast one and come out of the gate next season with an offense nobody has seen before-or at least in many decades. The Single Wing with Spinning Fullback. Deception at it's absolute finest level!
We have the perfect QB and TB's-Flacco, Franklin and Bogan-to run that scheme. Further, we have an absolute master blocking TE-Ernsberger. And we have a quick, end arounds in Bellamy and Eskridge.
Franklin could play FB, Bogan RB and Flacco the 'QB'. Flip the biscuit to any one of them, then they get into handoffs (will he or won't he? Did he or didn't he??).
Follow up last years remarkable run with a successful offense nobody has seen since the Marx Brothers were chasing dames around Hollywood! Here comes ESPN Gameday again!!!

Take the reader comments for whatever they may (or may not) be worth, but the majority of the responses include many positive comments about Lester's work at Syracuse while he was there.

You are no longer allowed to comment.
Why? As opposed to running basically the same offense as every other Div 1A school in the country, then hoping you execute just a wee bit better than the other guys? Banking on recruiting a few more 3-4 star players than your opponents 1-2 star players to make you a bit more efficient in your offense? Hoping injuries impact your opponents more than you?
If Western does the same thing as everybody else, it's a crap shoot. You're planning on random events to work in your favor consistently. Anyone schooled in math or science will tell you that's crazy-in the long run random events work out.....random. They'll break even most of the time.
Everyone ran Wing offense until some imaginative coach came up with the T-formation. Then everyone ran that until some imaginative coach came up with the unbalanced line/split receivers. Then the Veer and Wishbone had their day. Then run and gun. And so on so forth.
Some lead, others follow. Need I say more?

Our Broncos just went 13-1 with a Cotton Bowl berth. This team returns a ton of talent and experience.
Why would we completely change our offensive scheme? It's likely that none of our current players have ever run something like that in their lives. It would take 2-3 years to even implement an offense like that.

The offense is simple, it's the execution which determines it's effectiveness.
Television doesn't like running offenses like that, because it speeds up the game tremendously. Less time for beer commercials-and there is more truth in that funny statement than some imagine.

That was actually a pretty cool video.
You're delusional though.
A prophet is respected everywhere but in his own village.
The players in that video really weren't even executing the offense very well, their fakes were half-hearted. And they were still ripping off 6-7 yards a carry.
If you see a team who's really bought into the deception aspect of the offense, really doing good fakes, you can hardly tell who has the ball on any given play. Lots of breakaway runs. It's really fun to watch.

It's high school. And as mentioned would kill our recruiting.
