UT boosters to go after Applewhite after Herman leaves...
... Man, I'm sick of the BONGhorns... This here however is clear enough for me that The University Of Houston has alot better eye for head coach talent than those pricks in Austin.

I highly applaud Houston again for their brilliant high buyout... If anyone wants our head coach they're going to pay $$$ UH for it.

HAHA!!! That would he awesome if he screwed them for an nfl job!!! Talk about karma!

On another note though I'm surprised they are already saying they would be interested in applewhite. He has yet to coach a regular season game or even be a real head coach for a long period of time. In the short period he has been our HC he has been pretty underwhelming. So i find it interesting that they would be talking about him being the next coach.

The optimist in me however says that maybe there is more to applewhite than what we have seen. Maybe he will be better than we all thought.

Strangest thing is they claim to have more money than God and yet the BONGhorns avoid national search.

My take - liar Herman is already being pressure and he has not even coach his first game yet. GOOD

He chose it he can deal with it. Lets see how UT fans like it when he stops coaching because he is busy talking to an NFL team.

UT deserves it for their UT-Houston HTown Takeover attempt.

Applewhite will not coach at Texas in the next decade. Fans may want him but not the people that matter

Applewhite will be lucky to get the head coaching job @ UTSA after he drives the UH program into the ground

With current talent on team Houston should be ok for 2-3 years... I think if Applewhite doesn't prove much in his first full year he's gone.

I think UH will surprise this year under Applewhite.
We had a great QB, a marginal OL, and injured RBs all season long.

Next year the OLine will return EVERYONE, bigger, stronger and faster. We were playing tFR, rsFR, SOPH, JR as starters. There will be big improvement in the OL play...and games are won in the trenches.

I'm hoping for some more speed. But this O needs physical WRs for blocking. In the G5 world it's hard to get those that have both.

D will be set. Wilsons loss was unexpected. But I think we will reload more than rebuild.

I don't care for flash, just get me some wins.

Having Oliver back again is going to be a lot of fun, hope he can help us all here in Houston forget that pathetic bowl results.

Wait until he loses a game. They'll turn on him and he will melt like he did with half the media in Houston, who are tame by comparison.
