Personally? Anything that violates a clear site wide rule, and causes enough of an issue that it gets reported to the moderation team.

That goes for any mod site wide. We're divided into teams to make things easier, but we can address issues on any forums if they are large enough.

Well, rather than handle a bunch of PM's why not let the entire community know what was big enough of a deal to bring a mod (no offense) that none of us have ever heard of from a non AAC school over here to swing the ban hammer on the AAC board....unless this offense took place via PM or on one of the other boards in the network which would clearly make sense.

For those of us who have been here for a decade or more, this is the first we have seen of this. I have not seen anything in any thread yesterday that is a problem. If I missed something, I apologize. Just please let all of us know. Forewarned is forearmed and all that jazz.

This is the problem. In my opinion the person who gave the time out is big on instigating his Ark State stuff on this board. I do not know why the Ark State guys post on this board so much. What do they think they are getting by being here? It started after they beat UCF. I honestly think that was the biggest win for them in school history.

I've noticed that all of a sudden chiefsfan is gone back to the shadows hmmm,,,, I'm I the only one that thinks that is fishy. Where is GTS now to rectify this problem? Where are the the big bad thread statements aimed at the g4 trolls that come over here and get passed off because we're not singing their praises. Where was this chiefsfan jerk when all of the sunbelt trolls were flooding this forum until it was almost unreadable? What a half hearted group, Wow

C'mon ,GTS and the rest of the mods let this ish go on for months . Now he chooses to pick one poster out of a mob ban them,then place threads on every other board warning them about the AAC. You handle your business the same way every time,you deviate from it and you wind up with this ish. He's wrong and wrong in a big way It may be his site but that don't mean the emperor is wearing clothes.

To answer your 1st question...no there isn't. There is a similar thread on the CUSA board that is word for word the same as the Sun Belt one.

As to your 2nd question...I don't think so.

I'm taking the AAC board of of the favorites dropdown for something like Cat Fancy Magazine instead.

its clear. g4 can trash and mock the AAC relentlessly in the AAC forum but if we slightly mock back we get moderated and banned

anyone who has been here over a year should be well aware BC1 was against the whole p6 thing, and normally agreed with the other g4 conference, he only started trolling and mocking them becuase they were nonstop posting and trashing us that he switched sides...

this place is honestly becoming less fun...this whole thing leaves a bad taste in your mouth

That is garbage. Give posts as examples of crossing the line. I don't see anything different happening. If people are posting on other conference boards I can understand it, but I don't see how an AAC poster can be banned on this board by an Arkansas State fan unless there is more to the story. I really don't know what he did.

Our conference is branding ourselves as the P6. That means "we" think it is the G4 with the others. The others don't like but that is our marketing push.

I believe we will continue to see the p6 stickers next year.

Because he broke site wide rules and all mods have power in regards to site wide rules. In the past day he:

- Discussed modding on boards
- Baited WMU fans (naming one by name even) which GTS is on record of saying there is a no tolerance rule in regards to that now
- And he started insulting members

Honestly all that in such a short span is already enough for a short timeout but add in his history of baiting and it's a cut and dry case.

Honestly it's going to go close to this:

Deal with the AAC (and main non-AAC) trolls/trouble makers and hope that fixes all the issues. It most likely won't so after most of the muck is cleared they will spot clean the last bits of muck and the board will be back to normal or at least in a state where it'll be easier to mod for everyone.
