Why you are going over to each of the boards and calling out AAC fans? This is a business right? Why call out one group when, if you have read this board since December, it has been bombarded with schools from other conferences coming over here far more than AAC posters going other places to post. I thank you in advance for your response.
Can you also explain why such a high rate of ACC programs have been caught cheating?

I'll hang up and listen...thanks.

He needs to be called out in a big way, this "ish" is no where near what would be considered proper protocol for a mod.

Because there are threads here that are trashing the other conferences, we come here to defend ourselves, then posters turn around and play the victim.

If you plan to attack GTS, then you are out of line. You called this a business. It's GTS' labor of love and should respect all of the work he has put into this board over 10 years.

Not attacking legit question. Appreciate all the work put into this site. Nothing wrong with asking questions.

If you don't want to hear it don't come here. We are not seeking you out ,you chose to come here. You have free reign to say what ever you choose on your own board. When you choose to instigate the arguments ,you should not complain to the mods when you don't care for the outcome.

In fairness, there are lots of threads attacking the AAC (especially on the CUSA board). To me, you should be free to be as positive as you wish on your own board. If your on your own board claiming your conference is better--so be it. Your not hurting anyone. I'm sure the Germans think they have a better system than the Americans and the British believe they have a better system than the Germans. As long as you keep those feelings within your own borders, everyone gets along just fine.

Now, if your off on another board starting trouble making threads--well---you get what you deserve. If I am on another board, I may disagree and I might even say so---but I'm going to be respectful and I'm not going to get into a big insulting back and forth---after all, it's thier board. Its thier home. You don't go to another persons home and start a discussion about why they suck. It's just common sense.

Really? So Sunbelt posters have free reign to say what they want on the Sunbelt board? Not according to AAC poster "Big East Homer" Here's what he had to say in a post ON THE SUNBELT BOARD;

(01-07-2017 07:25 AM)BigEastHomer Wrote: [ -> ]Don't create AAC threads if you don't want AAC people over here.

So he is on the Sunbelt board telling posters to not create threads about the AAC over there if we don't want AAC posters there. And fwiw I have no problem with AAC posters being there. It is all just message boards that are meant for entertainment but some of you want to make this seem like it is life and death issues being discussed here. All of this is nothing more than just being sports and the discussion from various team fan bases.

Oh, I think such threads may very well attract posters from other boards. My point has always been that you should be able to say you think your conference is better than the rest (assuming that's your opinion) ON YOUR OWN BOARD and visitors to your board should be on a short leash if they are disrespectful or troublesome. Again--I just look at it as if you were a guest in someone's home. That's all I'm saying. 04-cheers

As far as the GTS comments on the other boards regarding AAC posters---I'm fairly sure that was a reaction to a few posters that he has already addressed in the new mod thread.

I agree with this. I know that I am only a visitor here from another conference and in that regard I always try to be respectful here with my comments. I see a lot of foolish comments being posted here denigrating the other G5 conferences and for the most part I just laugh it off and consider the source without making insults in retaliation. But every once in awhile someone just goes overboard with their jabs and it calls for a response. But even then I try to be civil in my comment.

As I have said before, message boards are only meant to be used for entertainment. Anyone who takes them too serious really isn't cut out for posting on boards. But.......of course that is just my opinion. 04-cheers

No contradiction at all. I don't take these boards serious. To me they are just for laughs. But when some posters cross the line with their comments I do think it is necessary to tell them so.
I can understand being on better behavior visiting other boards, but on an AAC board it isn't like we need to suck up to the smaller G4 schools. I fully get it is a business and GTS can do what he wants though. Who exactly is creating the problem? Why not message them directly?

We can't help that the G4 fans are offended by facts.

It is a FACT that the AAC is the best league in G5. That doesn't offend me at all. It is what it is. All the Sunbelt can do is strive to improve the perception they are looked upon with by the other conferences in the NCAA. At one time they were looked upon as being the worst of the G5 conferences but they have improved that to the point now to where they are considered better than the CUSA and are right on par with the MAC. Their next goal is to move ahead of the MAC and catch up to the MWC. Now will they ever catch up to the AAC? Doubtful. VERY doubtful. Not as long as the likes of Houston, Cinn, Temple, or UConn make up the nucleus of that league.

There is talk on the Belt board that more conference realignments are coming soon and the hope on the Belt board is that we can add the likes of USM, and UAB from the CUSA to the Belt. Two schools that are smack dab in the middle of the Sunbelt footprint. LaTech wouldn't be a bad re-addition but the fans of ULL and the Bulldogs absolutely hate the idea of playing each other again. If the CUSA lost those three schools to the Sunbelt that would be a critical blow to the CUSA for their hopes of survival.
yeah that post by Georgia Tech Swagger on the other boards was farce

HUNDREDS of the g4 schools come here after ever loss of ours, mocking the AAC and disrespecting us, literally in the hundreds...they constantly make threads in our forums or there forums trashing us...mostly in ours thou

its been like this for 3 years straight

and i mean after EVERY LOSS to a team from their league

maybe 4 or 5 AAC fans ever veer to their side and the majority of them are respectful......

so they can come here in hoards to mock us and trash talk us, but if one or 2 of us go there mod actions most be taken???
why specifically target the AAC? why not say "if a fan from another conference" why specifically call out the AAC?..
that wasnt much appreciated
