Kent State vs. Ball State
Just noticed that the KSU/BSU game is the only MAC game that will not be available on ESPN3. The five other match-ups will be streamed on ESPN3. How long does it take to get with the program?

RE: Kent State vs. Ball State
I'm surprised. Most other home games this season have been on ESPN3.

Game will be live streamed at KSU website at http://www.kentstatesports.com/watch/.

RE: Kent State vs. Ball State
The red hot Ball State Cardinals come to the MAC Center tonight looking to stretch their winning streak to six. Other than a loss to IUPUI, Ball State has taken care of business.

The players to watch for BSU include 6'3 sophomore and leading scorer Taylor Pearse, 6'6 250 pound junior Franco House, 6'6 junior Sean Sellers and 6'8 freshman Tahjai Teague. This seems to be pretty nice young nucleus for the Cardinals. Pearse and Sellers are guys that can fill it up from deep while House and Teague lead the team in boards

Four other players are averaging at least 7 points per night for Ball State. As a steam, the Cardinals just under 80 points each game.

The Flashes will have their hands full but should be feeling pretty good about themselves after the win over Texas. For all intents and purposes the season begins tonight at the MAC Center.

Here's to a home win for the good guys!

Kent State 79
Ball State 73
I'll go out on a limb and say Jimmy Hall messes around and gets a double double.

Hopefully not too good. Sometimes that will allow you to get complacent. No doubt BSU is coming to win so we will have to work tonight. Let's hope the good guys show up ready to play.

Kent State is in a battle. Weber from Ball State is lighting it up as is Jaylin Walker and it is tied late in the first half.

Perfect from the FT line. Edwin is 0-7 from 2pt range and 3-3 from 3pt range.

De La Rosa with 4 fouls and Edwin with 3 fouls @ the 8:48 mark.

Just about to type that. 18-18 so far from the line. Not too shabby.

The friggin free throw shooting is unreal. How many times in my younger years did I leave the MAC Center irate that they couldn't hit a charity toss! Dare I say those days are gone.

Did he just say De La Rosa takes a LONG two? wtf man.

It seems that Akron (over BG) and EMU (over Central by 20+) are also winners tonight.

Just saw this tweet: Kent State wins going 31-for-31 from the foul line. The first perfect night from the foul line in KSU history!

I wonder what the minimum for that stat is. You are telling me we never had a 4-4 night? Or anything that was perfect?

Also from KentStMBB on Twitter:

"The 31-for-31 tonight from the foul line was 3 short of an NCAA record – accomplished three times. The 31-for-31 is a new MAC record."

On the radio post game show I think Carducci said we were once 13/13 in a game. It was a while back but I can't remember what year.

You could see why they blow leads even tonight. De La Rosa a long two, Hall a three, Walker a wild three and three fast breaks that they forced instead of pulling the ball out. Tonight they got away with it with good defense down the stretch and the free throws. But 13 point leads got down to 6 or 7 a couple of times when they shouldn't have. There is no calming presence down the stretch. Zabo played better tonight at times so maybe he will develop into one.

RE: Kent State vs. Ball State
It was a fun game to watch until the 10 minute mark. At that point they should have halted the game and give 25 free throws to each team and call it a night. I don't think there were more than two possessions in a row without a foul being called. They were legitimate for the most part but the game was not very entertaining from that point on. I had so much time on my hands I took to watching the Columbus Blue Jackets on my phone. Might have fallen asleep otherwise.

The MAC might be a bit unbalanced this year from the scores coming in. We will see.
