The Hurricane still have a long way to go but definitely looking better than the first games of the season. Was really hoping we would win the first game of the tournament so we could go deep in the games so we can get some real tournament experience. Well experience period!

I would take either. At this point we just need more games to get better before conference season starts. With each game we have played, the players have gotten a little bit better. Baby steps. Tulsa's game today was at 4:30pm ET and Fridays game is also at 4:30PM ET. I think Tulsa being in the early game will help Tulsa. There are several games in the Tournament that start at 12:30 AM ET and 1:30 AM ET.

I'm pretty sure we'll be playing San Diego State. They have a good team & will be very tough to beat. Tulsa started horribly, but seems to be improving game by game. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we can beat SDSU.

It will be interesting to see how far our newcomers can go this year. I really think next season we will be our season.

Tulsa Playing SDSU in the early time slot. Fri. 4:30pm ET. Diamond Head classic. This is an eight team tournament With about 3 Guaranteed games if you go far enough. A wonderful chance to get a lot experience in a stressful environment. Just what the doctor ordered for the Hurricane.

Utah lost to San Francisco tonight which makes things interesting. I though Utah would probably take the whole thing.
