Agree in that I wish College Baseball started later but ECU is just 8 weeks away from our first game against Ole Miss February 17th

I am hopeful UC will be good this year.

I was waiting for ECU fan to start posting about baseball. And all before Christmas.

We have a baseball fanbase that turns out, travels, and follows the program. Been that way for years. It's relevant so what's your point?

Bearcats had a really solid season in conference last year with a very young team. Very excited to see if they can make a jump this year. Of course that's a long way of as basketball season is going full tilt right now and Cincinnati should be a top 4 or 5 seed.

Gonna be interesting season for Tulane. Coach Pierce was stolen away by Texas. Seems like we made a superb hire ourselves in Travis Jewett from Vandy. However lots of Tulane fans are upset we didn't sign former player Andy Cannizaro who is now Mississippi State HC.

Hopefully its a smooth transition and we compete for another conference title and can go further in the tourney.

No real disagreements here, other than that I'd have UCF 5th or 6th. ECU has CWS potential. UH and Tulane should be tournament bound, and UConn is probably a bubble team. The Florida schools have been polarizing since joining the AAC. UCF was up to #6 in the country at one point in 2015 when they were mashing everything in sight, but fell apart later in the season (no pitching and bats cooled off) and then struggled again in 2016. Both are way too talented to stay down for long, and I'd bet that one of them finds their way back into the mix for the conference title this year.

Baseball News has UCF as receiving votes but the AAC has UCF tied for 7th??? Which is closer to reality?

Who all did you loose ,and who all you got coming back?

We lost only one recruit (could've lost so many more but word was they gave high ass numbers to come on campus) and seniors. I think we kept everyone else but don't quote me on that.
