Faces of next year...
I know this is a little soon but I'm already impatient. A lot of leadership left this year in basically every position group. Kenny, Folliard, QBs Meyers etc. Who do we see emerging next year as "the guys". Who's going to make that jump, any predictions?
Obviously the quarterback will be a big issue. I see him sticking with graham regardless just because. The whole JB v. JH scenario. Did someone say Maddie might medical for next year?
Lastly anyone with a sources to the team get the feel on how they parted ways? A relieved feeling the season being over, hungry to get back at it etc? Like to hear perspectives...

This is what we were talking about last week, where the doom and gloom kills every thread.
The subject of this thread is a consideration of who will lead in 2017. It's a good question. A few candidates:
-Max Scharping
-Shane Wimann
-William Lee
-Bobby Jones
-Renard Cheren
-Jawuan Johnson
Regarding those who make the leap, we need Spencer Tears to do so. I liked his blocking effort in '16, now time to become a key performer in the passing game.

Funny, that's the same amount (in your case x 1000) of asinine posts you will make before next season.
They will win at least 7 games next year!

I think Beebe will be on the biggest leaders on the team next year. Kinda like TLL was for us IMO.

A guess on the last question- it's a small positive that the team was ready to jump on a plane and play a bowl game out of nowhere. I completely defeated team would have hung up the phone when Cary/Frazier called.

I'd like to see Huff and Beebe leading.Lurry on defense! Maybe one of these Juco guys can make their presence felt early.

Troop says "Lastly anyone with a sources to the team get the feel on how they parted ways? A relieved feeling the season being over, hungry to get back at it etc? Like to hear perspectives"
Makes me wonder if troop or others that share this thinking ever competed in sports. Athletes wanna play. Love of the game and all. I gotta believe 95% of players were excited for the possibility of playing WSU.

1) The MAC is a ****** conference, 5-6 wins there is no problem
2) Lot's of young players were forced into roles this year and they will be that much better next year as reserves or starters
3) QB will be much better, Childers redshirted and they are high on him, hopefully Hall will also be in the mix.
4) WMU will be much worse, and Toledo doesn't scare me

Maddie (with redshirt approval) and Beebe will be huge additions to the offense. Huff should run for 1,200+ and 10+ TDs. The young secondary guys got a lot of reps this year so hopefully that unit is solid. The DL will be a mystery as usual. Bobby Jones will really need to step up at LB.

This coming from a guy who has a history of saying MAC play doesn't matter

Your illogical posts baffle me. You asked me how things would be better, I explained, not much more I can say.

Maddie/Santa, Beebe, Huff, Wimann (Hopefully we throw to him), Blake, and Saffold on offense. Obviously, Lurry on defense. He will get 7 or more picks I'm predicting and will not be returning punts. I really liked Schwab in limited action. I think he will play a huge role along with Johnson and T. Smith. Of course our frustration with the kicking game will continue and probably a lot of questionable coaching decisions...

You are saying we all should be enthusiastic because we could win 5 MAC games next year, coming from someone that has always said MAC wins are meaningless, it just sounded like a bit of a contradiction.

Anywhere from 1-2 wins. 3 would be a major success and something you will be proud of then you'll praise Carey for winning 3 games and ask to give him a contract because that's what Huskie fans do haha.

And on a side note.....
Levon Meyers recently tweeted that given the chance he'd jump at the chance to put on the Huskie jersey and play another game....
This was in reference to a couple players (Ex: McCaffrey/Stanford) choosing to pass playing in bowl game.
