Hope this is the year Murray finally puts it together. He's pretty smart, but that hasn't translated to wins in the conference-at least until this season. Second half of the season is heavily laden with games at Lawson, so no more excuses-we have the talent, we have the coaching, we have the powerplay we have the goaltending. Let's make some noise!

WMU will continue to improve in this conference.The recruits are more talented and we are starting to get our share. No doubt the best Conference in Hockey.

#1 Denver in town this weekend. Fridays game is a 6:30 start.

bring them on! I love that we routinely get to play back to back games against the #1 team in the country in this league. Two wins would do wonders for our pairwise, and put us in excellent shape for the NCAA tournament.

It is going to be tuff weekend for the boys they have played two games in the last 33 days and the hands and game shape legs probably won't be there at least for the first game. I hope Andy is working them hard because the schdule has been crap for trying to stay in shape

very good point, at least this isn't a pair of road games at denver

Haven't been on in awhile, could not get my password to reset. I have to say, that this team looks pretty good so far. I said I would eat crow if they got better and let me tell you, it doesn't taste very good!

One note to SUP, you mentioned that you were a players parent. I would caution you to be careful talking about players on this team and their level of play. You called out Fleming, how would you feel if we were trashing your kid on a public forum?

If he took 3 major penalties in 3 games i would be calling him out myself. I do not mind him as a player or his level of play but several on here talk about the amount of penalties this team has taken over the past few years and how it has cost us . We were in a 0-0 game and a !-1 game at the times thanks to some great penalty killing we sqeeked out two wins it could have been two losses us near 500 and out of the rankings

Not questioning your thought on his play. I would not call out a player like that especially if I had a kid on the team. If you get found out, I would imagine it would create some problems for your son with his teammates.

Getting lost in all the Fleck football hoopla is Andy Murray and the hockey boys. They're playing some of the best Bronco Hockey in years with a few guys who might be in the NHL someday. If Lawson isn't sold out (or close to it) both nights this weekend vs. #1 Denver, something is seriously wrong. Go Broncos !!

Hope the long layoff since the GLI hasn't sapped their hockey legs. They were playing at the top of their game at GLI.

On a different note Paul Washe of the tri city storm won team west MVP at the USHL NHL top prospects game on tuesday . He is a wmu commit

The Broncos are making that push. I was at Lawson tonight and they played a great game vs. #1 Denver. Blacker is strong in net and the defense is the best I've seen from a Bronco team in years. Andy has the boys playing hard. Just need a bigger crowd than the less-than-sellout Friday night. C'mon, hockey fans, get behind these guys Saturday night!!

Looks like that long layoff didn't take away their edge, but it allowed them to rest-up and heal-up. Beating # 1 on a friday night! Only one thing better than that is SWEEPING THEM!
