Perhaps enough Bernie supporters would have come through for him over Trump, though that would have been disastrous for America. They were so blinded by having the first woman, that they forgot to be sure the woman they nominated was a decent woman. Judging someone merely by the color of their skin or their gender, instead of the quality of their character, can bite you in the butt. Ironic that it was the Democrats who were the ones more guilty of these faux paux. What did MLK, Jr. say? And MLK leaned Republican.

There are no dumb arguments, only dumb democrats. Okay, now you can report me to the Department of Redundancy Department.

Honestly I hope the dims keep complaining and offering up continuous conspiracy theories through 2018 and beyond. In fact I heartily endorse this strategy for them. Between their refusal to become a little introspective about the results, their doubling down on maintaining the status quo within the party with retread leadership like Pelosi and Schumer, their doubling down on identity politics and their lapdog media refusing to admit that their total shift to the left the conspiracy theory tactic would be the best thing for them to do for the country.

I still think that what Comey did that hurt Clinton the most was his original statement that he did not recommend prosecution. Those millions of Americans who have held security clearances recognized immediately the existence of a double standard. And they told their friends. So the narrative the Hillary was part of some privileged class that was out of touch with the reality of ordinary citizens began to gain traction. In the end, she lost because middle America decided that it had enough of smug, arrogant, condescending leftists pissing on their legs and telling them it was raining. And it was Comey's initial actions that fed that, not anything he did later.

So how has the left reacted to her defeat? With more smug, arrogant, condescension. She couldn't possibly have lost, so the election must have been stolen. Or hacked. Or rigged. Or something. So call for a recount. Blame the Russians. Do something, anything, to overturn the result.

1. Clinton did win the popular vote, it isn't a dumb argument, it's a fact. But of course, in Trump's America, facts no longer matter.

2. I have never heard anyone say Comey wanted Trump elected. If that were true, he would have suggested Hillary be prosecuted.

3. The Russians aren't coming. Unless you mean the Russians are cuming.

There are two ways to gerrymander. Spread them out thin across many districts or pack them into as few districts as possible. Conservatives are barred from doing option number 1 so they switch to option number two then blame liberals for their resorting to option number two.

The only people who need to be blamed are conservatives who made the original law necessary and then found a loophole to circumvent it.

No she didn't because we don't conduct a national popular vote in this country. 51 'state' popular votes are taken and she won only about 20.
