This is a hell of a situation. How does the basketball team process this?

Keep rowing?
Seriously a terrible situation, though.

How do you figure? Again, not blaming Hawk, but we're still early in the investigation process. We don't know this kid's background, if he has a history. Hopefully it's a one-off incident.
But 19 y/o guys who shoot and kill other guys usually don't get the itch and have it happen. They have histories.

It's unsettling that the team is playing right now.

RE: WMU student shot & killed
Another tragedy that the Kalamazoo community has to endure. Another sad day for WMU. I hope for a speedy and thorough investigation, and that justice is served.
That apartment complex has been going downhill for quite some time. It has gone through multiple management companies. They found black mold in at least one of the buildings a few years back, if I remember correctly. And now they have to compete with all those nice new student apartments on campus. Plus, across West Mich Ave. they just built that new place that has apartments/lofts in it.
The 700 SoHo/Campus Habitat/Varsity/whatever-they're-called-now apartments aren't even that old, but I could see them being torn down sooner rather than later.

Probably the horrific, usual way.
