No need to hate.

What North Texas fans went on your New Mexico Bowl thread and bashed y'all?

Doing the least would be going 0-12. Look at it this way... among those that came up a game short, we did the most in the classroom.

Not hate reality. 5-7 worst record. HoD highest bowl payout.

Your gain societies loss.

The bowl money is pooled, hater. Enjoy your bowl game.

I mean like it said there could be a major reshuffling, but why wouldn't you? These are the two most likely scenarios and both mention North Texas in the HoD. This is from ESPN, who controls these bowl games. I know LaTech wanted it, but it was appearing more and more like North Texas. 5-7 or not, look at the attendance differences between the two teams in HoD. ESPN wants their games to look good on TV, by having a crowd at the game. We are obviously closer so it makes sense. I'm sure you guys will end up getting a better opponent.

Because the article also said that everything has to happen a very specific way. If ULL or USA lost, an upset in the P5 title games. Could just take one of those going an unexpected way to throw the whole plan off.

It's not hate, genius. HOD is arguably CUSA's best bowl and you are inarguably CUSA's worst eligible team at 5-7. Nobody is going to be happy for you. Three pages and you've yet to get a positive response from any poster.

Maybe, but I don't think that changes the North Texas portion of the equation. They probably already made a deal with LaTech whether they win or lose tomorrow, or this likely wouldn't be getting reported. Who knows, but I wouldn't worry too much about HoD or not if I were you guys, it will probably be Army as the opponent and you guys can get a better opponent.

UNT gets the HOD bowl while we and ODU get shipped off to the Bahamas and Hawaii? Hmmmmm. Call me crazy, but 8 and 9 win teams should get preference over 6 and especially 5 win teams. Whatever.

Absolutely.

North Texas will draw around 30-35K alone. Army has a national fan base. They could easily draw 20K fans from Dallas/Fort Worth alone. Lots of Vets around DFW. And remember, Carswell AFB is in Fort Worth.
Don't see anywhere near even 40K for this game total on Tuesday morning, December 27, at 11:00 AM. Huge difference between a holiday and the first day of a short work week.

And there should be no regular season rematches in bowl games when they can be avoided. This one can definitely be avoided.

UNT brings an easy 30-35K, is the second most recognizable program in CUSA, and is the second most academically prestigious. Easy

So, quick question, when UT says you can't have your own stadium, hand signal or colors, do you have to blow Vince Young?
