Had Houston actually won that G5 conference championship they'd have a real shot at the playoff. Instead they finished 4th in their own division despite blowing out Oklahoma and Louisville.

AAC > Big 12
Yes, they are a much better conference than the Big 12. No Big 12 schools deserve to be in the playoffs this year.

Actually in comparison to how most coaches handle such rumors, he was the most "honest" about it. He really didn't backstab anyone...

Yeah Coach Fleck, you were supposed to mire yourself down in the G5 for the rest of your career!

The state of Wyoming has a policy to match any gift to Wyoming (not sure if just athletics, or the whole school). It really supports Wyo.
Reason I even brought it up before (in another thread) was that the last coach that did well at Purdue came from Wyoming. So fans and boosters might be willing to go back to that well again.

Nonsense. If that was his aim, he would've never left Fargo. He was king and truly no way to tell how many FCS championships in a row he could've won there.

If it works, it works.
Hold the phones! Since when the hell did you learn to use the quote button? Much less the multi-quote function?

That is ridiculously naïve.
