Sure it is. It's why Obama spent much of his time in office trying to constantly discredit Fox News and the leftists tried to marginalize conservative media as "alt-right". They didn't tote the party line put out of 1600 Pennsylvania so they had to be ruined.

Until the MSM shows it can be fair and non-partisan I hope Trump continues to marginalize them and slight them at every turn. It's time they learned a little humility.

He doesn't have to talk to them at all, just make sure you take them. The President is a servant for the people and the protective pool has always been a part of the whole transparency of the position thing. It was odd that both candidates did not have a protective pool during the campaign. It's also why speculation could run when Hilary "collapsed" at the 9/11 memorial. If she had a protective pool, the truth would have been out 30 minutes after it happened and it would have been a non-event.
