I bet it angers you so much to see Louisville and West Virginia being highly successful in their respective leagues. Rutgers is an absolute embarrassment and in no way should be labeled a P5 team. Cash your Big Ten welfare check and be grateful for it.

Even if it were proven that someone from Louisville actually stole the WF game plan, this would still be much ado about nothing.

Sounds like it's all good now. Sometimes an amazingly prepared game plan may look like something else. Only "breach" may have been etiquette in accusations. Time to move on and try to limit embarrassment.

I disagree. If someone from Louisville stole the WF playbook it would cause a BIG problem within the league because of who the two parties are in this case.
That said, we know just a little bit more than nothing. Here's a question for you - say a fan or booster lifts the WF playbook and drops it in your lap - what do you do if you are Louisville? You didn't ask for it, now you have it. I can assure you WF expects you to return the book and rat out who did it 'cause that's how they roll. Now, what if you have a stock of playbooks from the entire conference that you have accumulated over the years and update them as opposition research and you did nothing this year. Meaning, what if the "playbook" is old?
There's a lot unknown. But like I said, it the parties that matter. If it were FSU and Clemson, or UNC and Duke involved it would have much different optics.

First, I know a lot of people would have a problem with UL stealing the playbook, but I wouldn't. To me, espionage is just part of the game. It's your job to protect your playbook.
Second, if I were UL, I'd look it over, then turn it over to WF saying it just fell into our lap anonymously (wouldn't rat anyone out) and we didn't look at it.
Doesn't matter, because WF will have to assume UL looked at it anyway, and they would have to change the game plan.

UL is an easy target right now. Petrino and Pitino are both slimy and you can level an accusation with the expectation that it might be true. May not be fair, but unfortunately accurate.
Winning covers an awful lot of missteps.
Damn shame, as Jurich has run a very good Athletic Department during his tenure. Re-hiring Petrino was a bit of a jaw dropper, but winning covers an awful lot.

But ... it's not, not really. Both UL's football and basketball programs are firing on all cylinders right now, but the slime is still very much evident and talked about.
On this issue, though, I don't see any problem with anything UL has done.

Yeah that was blatant, and some of our fans got mad when we were called out for it. But it was obvious it was pre-planned. Especially when guys with these "severe" cramps would mysteriously heal after one play. Or one guy who forgot which leg he was holding while he was on the ground, and limped off on the other leg.

It's too bad we hired someone from Louisville and they set our athletic program back.
So funny how quickly you forget about the Steve Kragthorpe era and how quickly Louisville can be at the bottom of the barrel. Better hope Petrino doesn't leave you again.

Why can JH thrive at UofL and struggle at Rutgers? That's a question you should ask yourself.
BTW, as long as we have a Jurich or a Jurich appointment at the helm, we will be fine.

16 winning seasons in the last 19 years. The three Krags years from 2007-2009 are the years Louisville was .500 or worse. That covers five coaching tenures so clearly there are program resources and support for a winning program, barring a disaster of a coach such has Krags.
Louisville certainly won't be top 5 every season of course, but on the other hand I'm not concerned about losing conference games by 60 or 80 points real soon.

I don't get why programs such as Rutgers should get a huge check every year for sucking so bad. I'm sure the Big boys in the league love giving Rutgers a welfare check. BTW who does Rutgirls lose by 60 to this weekend?

What are you ranked Nationally and how is the Big 10 working for you?
Academically? Higher than the second most popular school in the state of Kentucky. The Big Ten is a great conference and we love being there. I mean whats not to love about getting some of the biggest names in college football coming to your house every other year. Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State and THE Ohio State. I mean thats pretty cool. Playing those teams and getting paid waaaaaaay more than we would if we were in the ACC will help us in the long run. Just enjoy Petrino while you can. He tends to have wandering eyes.
Good for Rutgers but money does not equal performance on the field. Please see IU, Purdue, Illinois, UK, Kansas, Duke.
Same as it ever was but y'all getting paid more. Good for y'all. You should not comment on a winning athletic program however. You have no idea what it's like.
Go academics!

Agree! no reason to hate on Rutgers for trying as hard as they can on the athletic front. Same for BC who is actually a better overall athletic program.
