Played out of control most of the game and too many missed free throws. I'm surprised we didn't lose by more than 9.

This game will be good for us. I think we have the same talent level, but UNCW played harder and smarter than we did. I trust our players and coaches to turn that around.

Maybe we should have worried about offense tonight. Can't be special without a way to attack the press. Sloppy passing, ball handling, and bad free throws. Seemed unnerved on defense. Cacock killed it.

And the only game I've wanted to watch all weekend lets me down. Pretty poor display.

20 turnovers and 21 fouls, how many of those were offensive?

They completely neutralized the Bucs frontcourt offense minus Cromer. Just not sharp enough play to take a tough team on the road. Should be a good motivator in practice for the 3 game Thanskgiving weekend.

^ minutes played by UNC-W starters.. I think 4 of them might have played the entire 2nd half.

Good game. We will call you ETSU and you can call us UNCW. Respect for your team. We had a guy or 2 out that hurt us. Ambrose was out and Talley....that really hurts UNCW. Best of luck.

Ouch. Even worse than I thought. And we were 16/16 against Mars Hill.

That could be a silver lining, the beat us by 22 last year. We did so many things wrong, played pretty bad overall and only lost by 9 on the road to a good team and made it game (briefly at least) late.

looking for something positive

If you look at the stats, UNCW made 2 more FG's and 5 more FT's. Turnovers let them control most of the last 35 mins of the game. I think UNCW is only lacking a big center to be truly dominant. 3-0 ain't bad.

NO!! ETSU is tough and should be in the NCAA tourney. Nobody in the SoCon should beat them this year unless they beat themselves. You have to convert FT's and value the ball a bit better in the SoCon championship game unless you get an At Large. Today would have been a good road win, I hope. UNCW has to get their guards back and can't afford injuries if they want to get to where many feel that they can.

Bucs 1/7 from 3, outside of Cromer. Burrell didn't look comfortable putting his up. UNC-W defense made wide-open 3s rare. As per my earlier comments, Walters will have a hard time shooting 3s when tightly guarded.

Appreciate the kind words, you guys have a great team. I think this game will prove to be a big learning experience for our team. Best of luck this season
