^^^ This is my entire point about jurists. They wield ENORMOUS power, obviously. They can make or break someone's life in a heartbeat. It's one thing for a politician to be a hypocrite because there is only so much damage they can do. It is ANOTHER for a judge for the reasons I just stated. And this is why judges deserve such public scrutiny. Many of them act like they are above the law and that the law is just suggestions for how THEY really want to rule and how they believe society should be ruled. Unfortunately when people demand such scrutiny, these judges act like cowards, threatening them with bogus lawsuits or smearing their critics with accusations like "you must have had a bad experience in court." What a disgrace.

Nope. I'm just an average citizen who knows what damaged can be waged by unruly, immoral and hypocritical judges.

That right there is my biggest beef with our legal system, that one man has so much control and power over another's life. That setup flies in the face of everything we're about as a society.

Throw in an obvious loose cannon like this character in this thread, and it's a recipe for a really bad outcome that impacts someone's life.

I will remind everyone to leave personal lives out of the discussion here on Bronco Stampede. You can criticize the university, the athletic department, coaches, teams, other poster's opinions...but leave personal lives out of it. Let's keep things civil around here.
