Here is some perspective on Mr. Molinaro's opinion on ODU entering CUSA. At the time it was announced that the Monarchs would move to FBS and CUSA he was of the opinion that they would struggle mightily for years, and that they were in over their heads. Fast forward to week 11 of season three in CUSA and we see that of the 13 other programs in the conference ODU has claimed a victory over 9 of them, and has yet to play 2 of them (UNT and UAB.)
The only 2 teams that ODU has failed to beat thus far are WKU (0-3) and MTSU (0-2.) and ODU's conference recored with games against FAU and FIU remaining stands at 12-10. This all from a program transitioning from FCS status. I say that ODU has unequivocally proven that their decision to move to FBS and CUSA was indeed warranted.
During the post game press conference with harry, a guy from the daily press and and Bob, Bob asked Bobby if the win was a kind of an I told you so moment to Cusa after picking them to finish 6th in the east. Bobby paused a moment and said he only ever had 1 I told you so moment since he's been here. He told Bob that he should remember. It was in 2011 after ODU lost to Delaware and Bob wrote a column that said we would be lucky to win a game in CAA play. Bobby told him our record in conference play and said that was his I told you so moment. Bob acted like he didn't remember.

Gee, he didn't mention that in his article. Wonder why.

I think he might end up being our first NFL draft pick of all time.

Unlike others, I had no problem with the offense yesterday. They converted TD's when given short fields and protected the ball when we decided to play conservative.

I didn't agree with how early we went conservative but we won the game and that is literally ALL that matters.

He reminds me a ton of Darren Sproles.

Agree on all counts. I think Ray could be a serious deep threat. I doubt there are many linebackers that can run with him. He is so fast in the open field.
