Stubhub selling point is around $30 per ticket on the 100 level. So SF being a smart dude he is discounting the remaining tickets to as close to that as possible so that NIU athletics makes the money rather then the season ticket holders who have tickets in hand and are trying to unload them.


This game will still make athletic more money than if it were a home game.

I actually got word that all the premium offerings like the Miller lite patio and HAF tent are totally sold out.

To put this in perspective, I'm flying to Chicago from DC to watch this game and bringing three others. I wouldn't have done this if the game was on a Wednesday night in DeKalb. I applaud SF for trying to generate greater interest for a midweek game in November, which he clearly has done.

There will be tickets for $10 outside the stadium. "Guarantee" it.

They will be season ticket holder tickets that are not going, being sold by other s.t.h.

I will agree with that to a point, but I would say it would have added maybe at most 800 more? The record and their play this season is the biggest factor.

I agree the Cubs were definitely a second order factor to attendance and not the most important. The record and weekday game fatigue are the biggest.

Add in the fact the season is over for us...No MACC possibility, but possible bowl game if we win out(probably in afghanistan)
