For those of use up north, ESPN spells $EC as "Ohio State".

In a nutshell that is what is wrong with ESPN. Unless you are a fan of 10-15 CFB team; 10-15 CBB teams; Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs and Dodgers; Packers, Steelers, Jets, Patriots, Bears; or the Lakers, Cavs, Celtics, Warriors; the network is pretty useless to you.
They are cutting out a significantly large number of people who live in the rest of the country and support mid to small market programs.

For me personally, I'm just burned out on sports. I watch my teams, but nothing else. I don't even watch all my teams' games anymore.
I haven't watched any non-Charlotte/Panther games all season and watched very few last season.

I don't watch SportsCenter. Like someone else said, too much commentary and not enough highlights.

Why don't you just buy the sports tickets for each sport? It will save you a lot of grief.

I am a huge Brett Favre fan and I abandoned the Packers because of their shoddy treatment of a legend.
Tim Tebow kept me in for a year.
I decided to give the NFL one last chance when I picked Derek Carr. I am glad I did. He is a great quarterback and a greater Christian man. I followed him during his last year at Fresno State. While everyone bragged about Manziel and Bortles, I knew that Carr was the best quarterback in the draft.
It is funny. My mom grew up a Fran Tarkenton fan so she liked the Vikings. My dad grew up a Raiders fan. I ended up rooting for both teams. The Good Lord has a great sense of humor.

Interesting. I grew up a Vikings fan because of Fran and my earliest memory of them playing was the super bowl against the raiders. I followed Carr because of his brother and Fresno St. used to be in th WAC. I was hoping Derek would go to the Vikings but they got Bridgewater instead.

I only watch espn when my teams are playing. Otherwise, I get tired of their "Cabal" love fest. I go to those networks that show the po' folk playing.

by Cabal do you mean the P5? Because they are the only real reason anyone watches football anyway.

Yes, the P5. A more apt name is the Cabal. Look it up in your dictionary and it describes them along with their liberal press, espn.
