Maybe? Judging by the NIU vs. UB score, I'd say NIU is probably better than most thought after OOC play. CMU does not look as good as projected after they beat Oklahoma State. Akron is disappointing too. Miami and OU are better than most thought.
Tier 1:
WMU- Can you smell undefeated?
Tier 6:
Ohio- Kent's win today makes that close game understandable. Just a solid team with a P5 win.
Toledo- 3-1? Getting worse? I think Toledo should have beaten OU, and if played again Toledo should win. Then again, if OU's QB had any accuracy we would have lost by 3 TD's.
Tier 6.5:
NIU- Gave WMU a game and have seen some GREAT teams this season, but did lose to CMU.
Ball State- 4-4 with no big tests in MAC play yet.
EMU- They have played all 3 in the above tiers... maybe the Hurons are beat up?
Miami- streaking!!
Kent- very solid defense
Tier 6.75:
Akron- Just yucky the past 2 weeks
UB- they have a MAC win by a lot of points
CMU- Cooper Michigan University
BG- searching for their first win still
The schedule's are so unbalanced thus far that I can't connect teams better than groups of 4 and 5 in the middle and bottom.
