I don't know if it's personnel or if it's all in the players heads; we moved the ball easily the first three games. But since VT we've looked disjointed. Is it a hurt QB? Did Foster give everyone a blueprint on how to stop us? Some combination?
Injury at QB didn't help and we just don't have that much talent right now nor was that talent recruited for the pro style offense. They were recruited for the air raid which is for short quick passes that didn't require blocking for an extended amount of time.

And as I said, we would turn it around this half.

We are more disciplined and the game is better managed so the coaching is better. We are just trying to run a pro style offense with players recruited for the Air Raid. Once we recruit the proper o-line players we will be better.

I like how youve let your anti Mo stance cloud your logic. This is one of the worst teams we've had in a while. Ruff's tenure had effectively dried up the NFL pipeline that Holtz had built up. Give Mo a few seasons to bring in top quality players again who most importantly fits the new system and we will be fine.

Wtf are you on about. NFL pipeline my ass. ECU has no and never had a NFL pipeline. Under what ECU coach did defensive backs run around WRs before trying to chase them.
He's not bringing in top quality players. Not even ecu quality players. Fit the system means nothing that's liberal buzz words. He's not asking anyone do anything they can't. It just doesn't work.
Why would you run a swing on third and goal needing 9 yards. Nonsense
Holtz has 4 active NFL players compared to Ruff's 2 and Ruff was here longer. And fitting the system DOES mean something. Air Raid was based on quick passes thus the o-line could get away with being smaller cause they didn't have to block as long. A pro style needs a bigger o-line that can block for longer due to the QB going through his progressions.

What team are you watching ECU does not run a pro style offense
What would you call it?
EDIT: Also he was a WR coach in the NFL and coached under Cutcliff who runs Pro Style. That plus what he has said in the offseason and w hat we have seen proves it's Pro Style.

he keeps saying that the receiver caught the ball it it's highest point. of course he didn't; he caught the ball at one of it's two lowest points.
grates on my nerves.
oh, and GO ECU! we've been divorced for years, but I still can't kick the ECU habit.
Maybe he's throwing a laser.
I know they teach physics at ECU.
I suppose if the game was in australia, and he was announcing in NYC, then he could have a point. it's still just a stupid thing to say.
Haha, I didnt see the play, but if the QB side armed a laser it could be caught at the highest point.
I'm obviously not getting through. no worries. pretty pass for the TD just now. the receiver caught it at it's lowest point!
