Coogs beat George Mason by 40-ish tonight. Van Buckets and Co. were raining 3's.

If I was putting money on it, I'd say it's because UCF plays Seattle this week and their coach gets a vote.

We pounded every team by nearly 20 points (outside of Nova). We crushed Miss State with their #4 recruiting class. We played #3 Nova tough.

And it is one vote. Not like we are in the top 25. Houston might get a few votes after that blow out too.

Nice. I saw that, but wasn't sure what to think because I'm not exactly a connoisseur of Miss. St. basketball.

A vote's a vote. If the team picked 9th (I doubt UCF will finish there) is getting votes (or a vote), that says something about our conference.

Really happy UH and UCF are showing something early in the OOC. We need this league to improve as a whole in basketball. We have resources to compete as a league in basketball, but having teams like this stay consistently competitive is necessary. UConn looks like they are going to be in a transition year although they will figure it out I'm sure with all that talent.

We need as many OCC wins as possible from all teams.
