it's going to be a crazy year this offseason with coaching changes...

LSU already obviously

Strong from Texas on the hot seat after today..

Helfrich and Kelly from Oregon and Notre Dame after today are both 2-4 and in deep trouble. Both will struggle to get to 6 wins...

Folks say USC's Helton in trouble- but he's won 2 in a row and things may be straightening out right now...

But the other thing is going to be guys maybe going to the Pro's. Have to think that Harbaugh will get some looks from Michigan. I mean with the terrible coaching in the NFL- think he would look pretty good.

Which NFL owner is going to pay him more than what Michigan is paying?

Why would he even go to the NFL, does not have to deal with owners or diva players.

To get away from boosters, athletic directors, university presidents, unrealistic fans, and stoopid NCAA rules?

There are several NFL coaches out there making $7 million plus.

He won't.

Not making a bowl in today's world is unacceptable for ND. Also, they way he has thrown his players under the bus I don't think is going well.

BTW, Paul Johnson GT may be gone if he doesn't start winning soon.

Johnson's buyout is too high for them to make a change

Have you seen him coach? He seems as if he has mailed it in.

I wish Tommy Tuberville was in trouble at Cincinnati, but honestly I don't think he is. We are going through a University Presidential search, the AD seems awed by the "Tuberville" name, and attendance hasn't suffered yet, and he was signed to a contract extension over the off-season. Plus he has an unending store of excuses.

UC could be a good rehab for Charlie Strong if he were fired at Texas and if UC were open, but I don't think UC will fire Tubs...

I am sure that ND is in touch with a coach that will be even better. By the way, who is that?

I am sure that ND is in touch with a coach that will benefit even better. By the way, who is that?

At this point who cares, just someone who will coach and take responsibility for his mistakes. Not throw the team under the bus. Just done, throwing 26 times in a hurricane and being so stubborn not to realize his game plan stuck(again).. I don't expect to know all the mistakes he has made but this season has been to much.

In that case, I feel a bit sorry for UC. I would like to see UC do well and go P5. Good luck with TT.

Strong would be a great fit at UC

Just a hunch, but he is gone by the end of the season.

Possibly, both would fit. Strong knows Ohio, KY and Indiana recruiting and can continue to bring in players from Florida and Georgia just as UC has been doing for nearly a decade.

Brohm could actually cut down his commute home to Louisville to visit his parents and in-laws by moving to Cincinnati (particularly the suburbs of Northern Kentucky).

The ECU game in 12 days will tell a lot. Will attendance be good (probably depends a lot on the weather)? Does the team still play hard, do they still care in the 2nd half of the season?

It would have seemed crazy 2 months ago --- but a 4-8, or God forbid, a 3-9 final record are both realistic possibilities.

If that happens, he has to be on the hot seat. How do you sell a trajectory that would be 9 (Charlotte), 9 (Military), 7 (Hawaii), and (3 or 4)?
