RE: Texas Expected to Dismiss Strong After Season
I think Charlie Strong would be a great candidate for the Kentucky or Vanderbilt job if they become open. Also, if these two become open Cincinnati or South Florida would be great jobs for him too. He'll find a landing spot, if I'm Tom Herman and I have a choice between Houston, LSU or Texas then I'm going to take the Texas job because of the resources available and the biggest one is the Longhorn Network.

If Helton gets fired, Herman could be interested in the USC job, too.

Charlie Strong got the dreaded Tweet of Confidence today from the UT-Austin president:

Had a great call w/ Coach Strong. We’re behind our student-athletes and coaches as they prepare for OU and rest of the season @Longhorn_FB

Charlie Strong would be a great coach for NC State.

Ouch! Well, at least he said they're with him for the rest of the season. Gives his agent time to float his name with potential suitors before the off season.
