Do not ever say this again. We can't have an expression as girly-man as this
I see you don't listen to Ted Alexander as much.
No more than I can help. Unfortunately I have heard him say this and it's embarrassing. No grown man on a sports broadcast should ever say such a silly thing. If this catches on we'll be the laughing stock of college football.

There defense is pathetic. Dont tackle well at all. They do have a decent pass rusher that takes a really wide rush.
Well definitely agree there are issues and it's a fundamental skill.
We've lost Shane Huber #8 on defensive QB inside linemen and 16 freshmen played.
Quote:Huber sat out the Minutemen's games against Tulane and Old Dominion after apparently suffering the injury against Mississippi State, and his presence was sorely missed on the UMass defense. Huber is without doubt the Minutemen's best inside linebacker, and likely their best overall defensive player. A good kid with a great football mind, this is the second ACL injury of his career, the first of which caused him to miss significant time and redshirt for a season.
Huber's presence on the interior of UMass' defensive front seven will be near impossible to replace. Steve Casali, Colbert Calhoun, Vondell Langston and others have seen their responsibilities increase in Huber's absence, and they will be counted on even more now knowing that Huber will not be back this year.
The Minutemen defense, which on the whole has been performing better than anticipated in 2016, will have to elevate their play now that they know Huber will not return to the field this year. Such a loss will be very difficult for UMass to overcome.

Quote:Whipple hoped that linebacker/safety hybrid Teddy Lowery (undisclosed injury) would be back after missing the Old Dominion game.
“We’re not sure. He’s got a chance,” Whipple said. “He’s better than he’s been.”
On the other side of the ball, Whipple was noncommittal on the status of quarterback Ross Comis, who was knocked out in the first half of Friday’s loss at Old Dominion with an undisclosed lower body injury that left him on crutches.
“I don’t know. You never know on these things,” Whipple said.
Comis started Friday’s game and was expected to be part of a two-quarterback rotation with Andrew Ford. If Comis can’t play, Ford would assume the No. 1 position full time.
Whipple said safety Khary Bailey-Smith, fullback John Robinson-Woodgett and offensive lineman Elijiah Wilkinson are each expected to return to the lineup Saturday against Louisiana Tech (Gillette Stadium, 3:30 p.m.). They did not make the trip to Old Dominion.
