This team has a lot of fight in them
We finally saw how this would handle adversity and they kept fighting. With all the turnovers and getting behind quickly, this team could have easily packed it in but they hung tough until they ran out of gas. I didn't expect to win the game simply because their receivers are so much taller than our CB's and it was a mismatch. I think we are still capable of winning 9 games this year so let's start by beating the hell out of temple

I think how the players handled it speaks really well of our coaches too.

Agreed. Our ability to cover the pass is much improved. The Rebels are as a good an offensive team as anyone in the nation and they have a couple of very talented and well coached receivers.

Maulet is the most improved player at this point.

Absolutely!
It's not out of the realm of possibility for the Houston game to be for the conference title (west), on November 25th.

Our guys do have a lot of fight but also way too many mistakes & penalties. Hope to see the fight turned into consistent success as the season moves forward - fewer mistakes, penalties & more consistent execution. The potential is there for this group to be very good, Go Tigers!

I went into this game thinking we had to play error-free to give ourselves a chance. After we went down 14-0, it was good to see us fight back and the 3rd quarter was impressive, especially the 99 yard drive. Was deflating to let them score again so quickly after we got it to 27-21. I like the fight in this team. We certainly gave the Rebels a better fight than Georgia did.
Onto the rest of the season, starting with a beatdown on national TV Thursday night.

Yep, I'm with you. I didn't watch most of the 3rd quarter because I thought the doors were about to get blown off. But, to my surprise, I saw the score on the bottom ticker, and the Tigers made a game of it. It stung to watch OM run it in for a TD on that fourth down play late in the game, but it looked like the defense was tired and probably fooled by the play call (as was I).
All in all, Norvell seems to be doing a good job and Memphis has weapons, A Miller being the best IMO. Ferguson also did a lot of good things, and he could do great things if he continues to progress and the team sticks together as a unit.
My hope is that they turn the OM game into momentum for the rest of the season. However, nothing is guaranteed. You're only as good as your last game. If Memphis gets beat at home by Temple, then most of us will be doom and gloom and expecting the worst.
Get it done this week. Then on to the next.
