Future Football Schedules
This subject took over the Hampton thread so here's a devoted thread.

Lafayette has released their schedules through 2019. They show a game at W&M in 2019 which will likely renew another four year series. Good add, the game is reachable for NY and Philly alums and one of the best environments for FCS football in the Norheast. McCutcheon, their AD, played football at W&M in the 1970s.

Though not released as yet, W&M has FBS games booked through 2023. UVA will be the opponent every other year. The between years will feature drivable ACC games, UNC one of these.

That is fantastic. Props to the AD for securing such a great schedule. Especially with UVA every other year

Virginia Tech game in 2018 will be last for at least a decade...VPI revealed their out-of-conference schedule this week through 2029 and we are not on it after next year.

ODU will play Tech ten times, VMI once, Liberty twice in state.

That's too bad. Always nice having Tech on the schedule, even infrequently.

RE: Future Football Schedules
Glad to see us getting Colgate next year at home that can help us in rankings if we win.

Bucknell game this year is ok opponent. Not sure a long term deal with Lafayette is that good since a loss kills us in ranking and win is expected based on their strength as opponent.

See preseason ranking for 2017 Patriot League Football Preseason Poll:
Lehigh 70 points (11 first-place votes)
Fordham, 61 (3)
Colgate, 54
Holy Cross, 39
Bucknell, 36
Lafayette, 17
Georgetown, 17

Lafayette has a new coach, and had a very good recruiting year. They look to be better in the future.

Dont understand why we cant get a home & home with Fordham. NYC trips and theyre competitive every year. Id love them in the CAA.
