It appears Texas is making its move

http://www.espn.com/college-football/sto...ball-coach

With it not being official I have removed him from the OP but here's an article where players are "talking" of boycotting the game vs TCU

It's a good time to be Tom Herman. Beat Louisville on national television on Thursday and have a burnt orange Wells Fargo truck back up to your front door on Sunday.

RE: 2016 football coaches fired/stepped down
Along with the term of "Black Friday" shopping, this weekend is the traditional "Coaches Fired" weekend. Several updates to the original post but new additions this weekend are

FAU
San Jose St
Nevada
Texas
*Houston - coach took another job but thread is for coaches who aren't still at same school when fall camp started

The scuttlebutt Ive been hearing is that Dana Holgerson is Houston's #1 target. Now I don't wish Dana Holgerson on anyone, I think the man is a despicable drunkard. But having a mighty B12 program (see the sarcasm seething) in WVU loses their HC to a G5 program, I'll laugh my rear off.

Also saw a report saying "possibly" Lane Kiffin to Houston. After being the head coach at USC and UT, I don't see him going to a G5 school as long as he's got a good thing going at a P5 school (even though he's the OC). Had the Big 12 expanded and Houston was invited I could see it happening but just don't see him going there in the current situation.

I'd say IU is a bigger threat to lure Brohm away from WKU than Purdue. IU isn't that far from Louisville which is where he is from and where his family is.

I am a tad worried about this one. Brohm could be persuaded due to family logistics. Hope not, but...

Indiana has already named their head coach.

Cincy fans have Brohm on their wishlist. I think Baylor is going to be able to offer him too much $$$ to say no to.

"If" sanctions are coming against Baylor though would Brohm really want to go into a job knowing he's going to be behind the 8 ball from the start?

Why not? Make $5 million a year with 2-3 years of zero expectations. Then either produce and go on to the NFL or fail and get bought out.

Zero expectations?! Ha! Baylor fans 'believe' that they should be competing against Alabama for the NC every year. He had better be able to win IMMEDIATELY or they will trash him and start over in year two.
