Georgia Southern has scored 3 offensive touchdowns all season. If we get into a shootout with these guys, our football team is in serious trouble.

That might be a closer eye than I'll put on it. Wednesday Night games suck.

Wed. night games may suck but I like the schedule right now. When we really need some time to get better, we have two ten day periods between games to do so. If we are going to get better, it will be now.

We will worry about touchdowns after we master getting first downs.

GS just needs to get back to basics. Fundamentals. Stop the stupid penalties and turnovers. Tackling and blocking would be nice too. And hopefully better execution on the field. This team needs to look at itself (especially the coaches) and realize this is going to be painfully hard, but it has to get better.

I'll be at the game with some friends and group from Charleston. I would welcome any stAte fans to stop by my spot, but I'm not sure where I'll be this game. I want GS to win, but then I also want a new HC. Between the "process" A.D. and "we won the 2nd half" HC we have a colossal mountain to climb. 03-puke

We need some players to sack up and tell their teammates that if they don't take care of business, they'll have to answer to them. It's obvious we're not going to get the leadership we need from the HC, we're going to have to get it from the players.

There's no drive and intensity right now, no hunger. That's definitely not going to come from this HC who looks like he's on the verge of busting into tears every time he's interviewed after a loss.

We look like we're just running through a script of events because that's what we're supposed to do.

Interested to see what difference playing at home makes. It's freaking October and we have yet to play in front of a home crowd. Our 2nd game was in front of maybe 3,000 people. Maybe they'll get a shot of adrenaline this weekend.

His eternal optimism coupled with his Satterfield turnaround comparison was too much.

I get it.. this is his thing. Its time for folks(media/personalities) to call a spade a spade when it comes to Tyson.

Heck I still think we can win 8 games. I'm not losing hair over this.

I agree the hokey level is just to high as with most of his videos.

Sat took over a program that was still good but headed in the wrong direction. Complete opposite of what CTS took over.

As in 8 wins this season or Tyson reaching 8 career wins?

If its the former... who is our only in conference loss?

Btw.. you are assuming we are 3/4 against App/Ark/NMSU/Troy. Convince me on us winning at least 1 of those.

There is a lot to factor in here, but as it stands NOW no we cannot win 3/4 of those games. But I think this team is going to get better over the course of the next few weeks and thats going to result in winning some games our fans have already written off.

Many of us knew years ago that 2017 may see a regression because of seniors graduating. So it shouldn't come as a shock that we are seeing a lot of mistakes made by a team that is VERY young across the board. They will get better.

(So yes I think 7-5 with a bowl win to make 8 is still possible.)

Agreed we all knew 2017 would be a chore, but Tyson built up zero equity from running the 2016 team into the ground. I'm okay with struggling this year if we had done what those seniors were capable of. I believe all of this comes down to terrible coaching and zero leadership from Tyson. Seriously... who would want to be lead into battle with that guy?
