I know the mods probably didn't want this started so soon, but I have a feeling this will be a pity party instead of a smack thread.

Been looking forward to this one since we joined, though I wish it wasn't with both teams wasting a lot of talent.

If Ark St has a proficient passing game then we are in trouble. We lose a couple more and our fans will put "for sale" signs in coach Summers yard.

I guess it is a blessing and a curse but our fans are not happy right now. Take a look on our message board

You've nothing to worry about. We have a special brand of stupid going on.

We cannot tackle. We know what that means when playing against Georgia Southern. Georgia Southern will likely put up about 800 yards rushing on us.

You definitely haven't seen our offense this year then. We just haven't been able to break the long runs like we have in the past. The passing game is much improved but the run game is a complete question mark

I hate to complain when we are 3-1 and obviously not in as bad a situation as Ark State, but I promise you we aren't as scary on offense as it may seem.

The thing about our offense is...we are basically a stereotype of an option-run offense: relying on defensive mistakes and hoping you're just faster on the perimeter than the defense. That will work somewhat against WMU, it won't as well against Ark State. We haven't out-schemed anyone, we've been trying to out-athlete people and hope we can pass well enough to make up for not being as good running the ball. And the passing is better, but it's intermittent.

Our complete lack of any pass rush was also completely exposed in the WMU game as well. Not sure I like those receivers you have getting time to get open.

Much as I really hate to say it, I'm not feeling like this is a week off for us.

We can't run, passing game is okay at best. Defense can stop the run, but can't get pressure on the QB, so teams pass on us for days until they eventually open up the run game. We'll commit at least 10 penalties and turn it over 2-3 times

If Georgia Southern sucks, this will be one ugly conference showcase game.

GSouthern is gonna run roughshod, especially after the butt whip'n received from WMU.

We may have 3,000 in attendance. I'd rather go to my Bible study than sit through another game like UCA....but I just can't miss.

Sad ain't it. This was supposed to be WW3, but it's just gonna be a pillow fight. BTW, yall gonna bash our brains in. Our team doesn't give a crap anymore. At least yall have something to play for.

Looks like the marquee game in the league this year will be App vs Troy. I wouldn't t put this one in the top 5 at this point
