The SEC will get $17 million this year from NCAA tourney credits. UK is responsible for 40% (27 of 68) of the SEC's 68 credits over the past 6 years, accounting for $7.2 million.

SEC basketball would be equal to the A-10 if it weren't for Kentucky. They're not completely living on welfare like those other schools (Purdue, Wake, BC, etc) have been for the last 10 years.

Basketball is peanuts next to the money that football brings in. UK is laughable.
