Prob fine- we will get first down partial fight song and TD fight song like we do at home. Hopefully we can play during timeouts when it's our ball

Ha, I'm sure there are rules/guidelines governing when and how the band can play, in addition to possible restrictions by the home team
and Well from what I have heard also is that special restrictions have been placed on the cheerleaders too by UNC, they can not throw certain baskets tosses, or do certain pyramids either like they do at home. Apparently they "UNC" has had some injuries, which i'm told. But cannot confirm...who actually set the rules for the game but overall college wide there always has been certain restrictions times when they can stunt/cheer etc. and thats set by the AACCA
Me thinks its just another way to keep the cheerleaders from PUMPING UP our ROOTIN Crowd.
In Other FBS games they don't usually have those kinds of restrictions unless there is a weather or surface issue per rules set by AACCA.

But I cannot say for sure and I am definitely not an authority on it...

so the band is going? sweet, that always helps. nothing better when the band played the fight song in Lane Stadium after our victory there.
200 person "pep band", and probably can only play while we're on offense... something our coaching staff made them stop doing last weekend.
This was way past due. Love the MRDs, but always thought it was ridiculous when they played on offense. That only encouraged our less experienced fans to make noise at precisely the wrong time. I remember Vad trying to shush the crowd last year at times so he could get plays off, and some folks were too excited and pumped up to notice.
They also need to implement big "Quiet, offense at work"'and "Make noise!" graphics to coach the crowd like you see in NFL stadiums.

Only significant NCAA rule for bands is no playing when either team is set at the LOS. Common sense dictates the rest...or it should...
