Stadium is built out, not up. I don't know why. But, if you're on the 50 in the lower bowl you're far from the field. It's not terrible but I'd prefer to sit in the upper level and be able to see.

Wouldn't you be closer to the field about 70% of the way up in the lower level than in the front row of the upper level? I don't remember the upper level overhang being that significant. Seems to me like you'll be in good shape as long as you're not in the lower half of the lower bowl.

At this point, we just need some Intel on how the rows are labeled. Is A the front row? Is ZZ the row furthest back in the lower bowl? You can never be sure with some of these stadiums.

I'm pretty sure the visitors sections are 100, 101, and 200. You are looking dead into the sun for three hours. Maybe being the third weekend of September it will be a touch cooler than what we have seen in the past.

Unfortunately no it will not be a touch cooler.

Yeah, I have no intention of sitting there on 9/17.

Road games are much more fun sitting in the visitor's section

To each his own, but I sat smack in the middle of some high dollar long time season ticket seats at the Tech game and would not have changed with you to sit over in that corner for no amount of money. I love having a little friendly banter with the opposition's fans.

Agreed, and I love it. The only one that wasn't even fun to be around was the UMD fans

Got seats today. Got them very near the top of Section 129 in the lower bowl. Not that great as far as proximity to the 50, but there weren't very many seat options that far up on the secondary market.

There are plenty of decent seats toward the top of the lower bowl if you go direct through UNC, but those tickets were $40+ each. Seatgeek & Stubhub should be better options if you pay attention to the row letters.

Do you think we'll win by 73 or 80?

The real question is, will the Tar Heels finish the game or quit with five minutes remaining?

I will be there +3. My college roommate in Atlanta got the tickets but I have no idea where we are sitting. I think I did tell him not to get seats too close to the bottom.

Hey guys, I am a new poster to the board but have been an observer for a while. I and a couple (more like 11) buddies from school are headin to chapel hill for the game. We bought tickets in mid july and thought we got an awesome deal $37 a piece for 50 yard line 2nd row seats behind the JMU bench. Shortly after, I saw someone post about not sitting in the lower level at kenan. I just want to get an idea of really how bad the sightline is. Any help would be appreciated. Go Dukes!

My least favorite stadium as a visitor. No legroom. At least on the visitor's side. Can't speak for the home side. Plus, you better hope for an overcast day. The sun will beat you to death on visitors side. Other than that, it is a nice facility! UNC sux.

You be looking at the backs of helmets if you are in row B. Their first row starts at a low elevation and makes it tough to see all the action.

Not that we can look past Central Conn, 03-yawn

But UNC gave up 320 yards rushing to Georgia. I get that its Georgia, and Chubb had 227 of that with an almost 7 yard average, but we may have some success running on Carolina.

If we have success running, we can slow the game down while keeping our defense on the sideline. Georgia only put the ball in the air 20 times.

Believe or not, this game is only 11 days away.
