NCState will wreck ODU, just like App wrecked them, only difference between this year and last is that we played them first and both State and App play at home this time. Also, as the other App and SBC posters have said its a bit silly to think U vs. App is a body bag game.

These are all you-better-not-lose games.

Exactly. Vandy will play Georgia Tech more closely than many might suspect.
Duke and Northwestern (especially there) will be a toss up.
Syracuse is the one that should win.
Pitt looked good but is no lock against Oklahoma State who will be playing pissed.

And sadly Virginia vs UConn falls into the who cares category in just the 3rd weekend of the season.

I want to know where the Miami team is staying. I suspect Winston-Salem. That would be the closest hotel stock of any size that is not a roach motel. Ray says the weather will be unseasonably nice in Boone this weekend. http://booneweather.com/Forecast/Boone

They'll stay at the Best Western in Banner Elk. No kidding.

That means a lot coming from a WVU fan but there's a real possibility of a let down going on the road against a good OSU team after an emotional victory so it's hard to know what to expect.

Yeah, if Miami goes in thinking it's just a continuation of the tomato cans they have played their last two games they are going to lose. App State is the real deal, and they were certainly in the game with Clemson last year a whole lot longer than Miami was.

You are forgiven since your team plays in the same conference as USF.
That said, Syracuse better not lose to the Bulls at home.

I don't think I am being partisan for saying this will be a "tough test" for Syracuse. If anything anyone saying Syracuse should win this game may have the blinders on. Syracuse isn't playing Colgate here. USF has a lot of size and speed across the board. Vegas doesn't disagree with me-- the line is set at 12.5 in favor of the Bulls.

I agree with Clifton, Taggert had the Bulls playing well at the end of last season. I haven't seen the Bulls yet this season but they should be a tough test for the Orange.

Virginia & UCONN will be a battle to see who the worst team in football is.

It can be argued that Virginia outperformed Va Tech last week. Final scores were almost identical but the Hokies spread was to lose by about 11 and that was on a neutral field. UVa spread was to lose by about 24 at the tough Oregon home field where they lose on average only once a year for over a decade now. UVa actually beat the spread. I wouldn't bet against the Cavaliers against UConn.

Are there enough girls at Lees McCrae for that?
