Looking forward to this game and plan to bring a nice crowd along. Time to support the team and more importantly the school. Huskie Stadium is always a tough out for any team visiting and the fans need to help keep it that way. Everyone cried about getting real teams to play in DeKalb and there is a good one coming in this weekend coming off a big win against a Pac 12 team.

Time to crank up the intensity and fill the stadium. Spread the word, tell your friends. Make the home opener a success. Fan support matters more than ever and any hostility anyone holds toward the program can be overcome by supporting this program in mass as opposed to turning your back. Time to bring Huskie Stadium back alive for another season!!

This is a good post. This is a ranked team from a major media market with a Heisman Trophy candidate visiting DeKalb. Huskie fans need to get excited for this game, regardless of what has occurred at the end of last season and the beginning of this one.

if we think the AAC is the magic bullet to cure all ails this game will give us a reality check of whether NIU fams know or care about their college football. i would say SDSU is on par with AAC teams for name recognition

Yep. San Diego State will be the best team to play at Huskie Stadium in a decade. They are currently ranked #28 in the latest AP Poll behind Utah and ahead of UCLA. A really good team is coming to town. Frazier made good on his promise to improve the schedule and bring quality teams to DeKalb and Huskie Stadium. The fans need to step up, buy tickets, and fill the place. This is a big time game.

It's a Saturday, it's the home opener, the temperature will be in the upper 70's at kickoff, and San Diego State is a legitimate OOC opponent coming off a big win over Cal in the Pac 12. There should be zero excuses why people don't show up for this game. Everyone has been waiting for real college football to return to Huskie Stadium. These are the types of games fans of big time programs rise up for.

Maybe this program needed a little adversity to wake it up. If Illinois fans can keep showing up season after season than so can we 03-wink
