Does anyone know when was the last time NIU was a double digit dog and won the game? I am assuming it's been a while?

RE: Upsets
If it has been a while it's probably because our program has been really good and it's rare that we are ever considered us double-digit underdogs.

RE: Upsets
Since 2007, the biggest Huskie upset vs the spread was beating Purdue 28-21 as 11.5 point underdogs on September 19, 2009.
I do not know what the spread was vs Alabama on '03.
On November 1, 2011, the Huskies beat Toledo 63-60 as 9.5 point underdogs, which is just a hair shy of a double digit spread.

RE: Upsets
Jerry Kill was a 14 point dog at Purdue and came home a winner.
NIU was 14 point dog at Alabama and won.
NIU was a 25 point dog at number 25 Wisconsin in 2002 or 2001 and got screwed by refs in last minute with the lead.
Alvarez even said NIU won the game.
NIU was 35 point dog at number 1 OSU in 2015 and had ball with minute to go down 17-10.

RE: Upsets
And we were 10-14 point favorites at Wyoming last week
Either law of averages kicks in or it means nothing
