Ok......... If you read the contract (which apparently is changing) it is a pay per play (on ESPN) deal. So whomever plays on ESPN will get the cut.

1.BYU
2.Boise State
3.East Carolina
4.UCF
5.Cincinnati

7.Memphis
Seems like a personal list to me. Please provide sources.

Ok are you admitting that Boise is out or what?........ Boise and ECU have made public statements to that fact and it looks like Memphis was left out as well.

Now this could be true.

Wow that limb your out of seems pretty iffy you might want to dial that back in buddy..... In that list of "wants" alone you have at least 4 schools who have confirmed that didn't make the cut.

First I have heard of this. When was the last time Boise played a B12 school in the regular season? I went back to 2000 (didn't feel the need to go back farther) and only found the 1 bowl game for ANY game versus a B12 team and no regular season games. If the "fans" were truly calling for Boise don't you think at least once in the last 16 years that they would have played someone?

Not saying Boise FB is a bunch of scrubs but come on...... I think we proved on Saturday we can lineup with the B12 (at least as much as Boise can...). We have beaten Oklahoma as much as Boise has in the last 16 years. Our win just happens to be relevant.

This may be the case but it's called horse trading. UT gets what it wants to give the rest what they want. They have the 3 votes to lockup expansion and the other schools want stability more than "trying" to get over on UT.
Sorry I just couldn't take it anymore. Your ignorance needed to be addressed.

Just ignore it. A lot of other posters do and it will save you the time of day. He won't (can't?) change.

This is the #AgeofDavidSt and you're all just living in it. The only person that can turn themselves into a topic and transcend conference realignment altogether.

When you see someone with Down syndrome, you simply look at him/her and you understand what's going on. You recognize the situation, and you don't try to engage the person like you would someone who doesn't have the disease.
That's the same thing as with DavidSt. You just look at one of his posts, and you recognize the situation. You don't try to engage him like you would a poster without the disease.

Do you guys think after the B12 hopefully add 2 this year that they'll add 2 more before the end of the GOR, like around 2020-2024?
I mean why leave Florida off your recruiting table when you can tap it w/ USF and UCF or at least 1 of them?

I believe David St's old ID is David Krysakowski. The similarities are uncanny. The old id had a pic of him at a game or something. So, let him feel like part of the gang or let him be.

Not that I really want to get into it ... but if it was such a no brainer, then why did your own conference fight about UL vs WVU? Obviously it wasn't a no brainer.
The report that came out about a month later mentioned a couple of things:
1) It was more about delays involved with negotiating Missouri's exit from the conference than any uncertainty about WVU. The drama was all stupid WV Senators, one who got retired and one who retired on his own.
2) It was also about 12 with WVU #10 and UL #11. But they couldn't agree on an acceptable #12. They explored stopping at 11 and OU's Boren was for that, but they didn't see a good way to make it work. They couldn't reduce to an 8 game conference schedule because of the TV contract (required 45 conference games) and a 9 game schedule doesn't work with an odd number of teams.
For clarification the big 12 was interested in AND tried to sign up Pittsburgh and Louisville two to three months before WVU was even in the picture. In fact Texas A&M and Missouri had not even made mention of defecting the Big 12 the first time the big 12 came calling to either. Just food for thought.

Pitt was apparently first choice for a #11. But its kind of ridiculous to think they added TCU and WVU without even considering them before. That they really wanted UL more than either of them, but suddenly changed their minds?

RE: Dodd/CBS: Big 12 -- Add BYU & Houston, or you have some explaining to do
Code:
You can say what you want, but that's what happened. And considering your track record on the subject,, I'm not really ready to go back and forth.
But if you must debate, there is a difference, a big difference, between who conferences ad when trying to expand, and who they add when they backfill. Case in point he ACC would have lieky made a different "expansion" choice then they made for a backfill choice for Maryland. But who the big 12 was actually looking to "expand" to add is not really a mystery, as it was made clear. When things changed (teams leaving), who they needed to add also changed. Hence why tcu became number one, who was also, as you say, never even consaiderwd before. And unless you are saying tcu was not always the big 12's first choice, including when Texas A&M wa still in the league, your respond whiles no water: not even a little bit.
/done!

bullet,
I'm declaring victory. There is documented evidence that the Big 12 had internal conflict in regards to adding Louisville or WV as #10 to go with TCU.

I didn't think you were in this discussion. Are you taking adcorbett's alleged victory from him????
The only documented evidence is from a couple of nutty WV Senators (do you really believe what politicians say or that they know what they are doing?) and Louisville message boards trying to make themselves feel better about being stuck (at the time) in the Big East minus 5.
