Marlon Mack could miss Saturday's game
USF's best player and stud RB could miss due to a concussion he suffered in their opening game.
This would be a huge break for the Huskies if he indeed doesn't play.

If half the team can't play, we might have a chance.

Prayers for him and his family. I hope he recovers quickly and completely. Concussions are a brutal reality that at times leave me wondering why I am a fan.

RE: Marlon Mack could miss Saturday's game
Everything I've read is that it is really questionable and basically sounds like he will be out for the game. Read somewhere he was almost out cold from the hit he took. He was in a non-contact jersey still on Wednesday. They also lost one of there safeties for the game and rest of the season. Tough break this early in the year, but will def. help NIU.

We've had more than our fair share of key-player injuries on the last few years. Zero shame in taking advantage of the pendulum swinging the other direction.

The Cam Newton incident probably makes it even more likely he will sit a week.

I don't feel Mack would be the greatest factor. Sure it helps. Flower's feet is what will kill us. Seems like the defenses greatest weakness is disapline assignment wise.

Yea, he (Flowers) looks very mobile. They'll have to play a lot smarter to keep him in check. He did throw a couple questionable passes, so we might get a pick or two.

Agreed. I wonder if we will have a spy on Flowers?

Hope Folliard can return to 100 percent soon, that would help. He sure didn't look close to 100 percent against Wyoming.

We spied a bit in the Wyoming game and often times the spy missed the tackle...

Thanks Chuck, he's a Sarasota kid and I feel an affinity.

Apparently even if he misses the game they won't miss him. They're stacked at running back.

Folliard had a poor game, but I think he is still suffering from an injury.

Folliard did have a bad game. Seemed Like he was in the wrong gap a lot. Then when he had a chance to make a big play, the very long QB run, the o linemen nearly pulled his jersey off when Sean was about to make the play.
