This game will probably be getting a lot of attention.

I was thinking Moore seemed to struggle against UT Martin, and Kiel seems to be the bigger pro prospect.

What better way for UC to showcase their program for the Big 12, in front of a national audience, than to put an NFL caliber arm in front of the Houston defense.

I'm sure he would test our DLine as well, with his quick release. Houston is starting a true freshman on the line, so your 5th year senior QB may have a field day.

This is your Big 12 audition. I'm sure many in the Big 12 remember what a big recruit Gunner is.

Tuberville seems committed to Moore so I doubt it.

This is not our B12 audition. I can assure you whether we beat or lose to Purdue has no bearing on anything regarding expansion.

He should play next week just to get reps if Moore struggles again. Kiel didn't have a good season last year but he gives UC a better chance to win than Moore does. I would open up the QB competition this week again even it it just for show. Players need to lean that nothing is for certain and that performance matters. Too bad this coaching staff seems stuck in it ways.

As was pointed out against UT Martin, Moore seems more confident on the designed roll outs.
As a Coog, I think Kiel may stand in there against Cameron Malveaux and Ed Oliver.

#1- Gotta play Purdue first. Can't wrap my head around Houston until we get past Purdue.
#2- Don't know who will start for Houston...but it seems like Gunner's playing days are over at UC, so I doubt it.

The QB position seems open, so whoever looks the best in practice this week should start against Purdue and then Houston. 50/50 at this point.

He missed most of spring practice due to neck ailment. So he fell behind in the new offense. If he does not play much this year he will be at the least UFA and will end up at an NFL camp. So long as he isn't hurt.

I don't know what it is, but to be demoted to 3rd deep on the chart and get no exposure to the starters or even the second squad is a pretty strong indicator that he's not going to see the field.

As I posted above he missed spring practice when the new offense was being installed.

The sad thing is that theoretically, this offense should play to his strengths.
