Second of all, that was big news, because that pick up was enough to give us the best recruiting class in Florida.

We are all dumber after reading that post. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.

If it isn't related to a spring sport (basically that means baseball) you shouldn't be posting USF info on here. You don't see UC fans posting our basketball signees or football signees. You posted it for the pure fact that you are trying to rip on UCF (whom you probably shouldn't be talking trash to in basketball anyway).

I could care less about UCF basketball until we play them. Hopefully we work somethin out for next year.
I'm not sure why TyBull posted it, but he has every right. I don't think it was a rip on UCF.....maybe on CUSA. But then again, Houston came over to the Big East board and bragged about stealing UL's recruit.

Apparently they added a player, then dropped Zarron Cann's ranking. So now we are 35th in the nation, one spot behind Florida for best in the state.
Of course, we know how these rankings go, they could turn out to be better, they could turn out to be worse. Nonetheless, McCullum has done a great job recruiting this year.

Oh my god Hoopscoop thats your legitimate source. Everyone knows that Hoop scoop isnt a legitmate source of recruiting info. It ranked based upon how many signees you have. Miami may be ranked "lower" according to this but look at their average per player its over 4 but they only have 4 signees. Get something on Rivals or the insiders in the top 50 and maybe we can talk.

And two wrongs don't make a right knicklehead.

People kill me with that lame excuse of "well he did it on another board so what the difference is" crap.

Point is it's wrong and tacky regardless of who do it.

Go UAB!

Everytime I read the original post it gets better and better....

this player is good but wow...

He was "recruited by Temple and Providence" - where were his offers?

We've had players, as have a ton of teams, that have done visits at schools competing at a slightly higher level han our own. Doesn't mean anything.

Like I said - great pick up - could do great things for USF. However, to act like it's some sort of proof that the Big East is superior to C-USA is stupid. No one's even debating who is better in basketball - it's no contest. But UCF has out recruited USF while we were in the Atlantic freakin Sun...and you were in a powerful Conference USA. The disparity between those two conferences is probably about the same as the new C-USA and the Big East.

UCF has momentum and we're riding it. Conference USA opponants, all-sports opponants, a new Convocation Center, transfers from top programs thirsty to play, and one of our best high-school recruits ever. We've been competitive the last few years against everyone. Take away the Florida game (which while it was a 20 pt loss, we held them to a season low points and our guys obviously were star struck as they missed open looks) - and we are 1-2 against Top 25 teams in the last 3 years and those 2 losses came by 9 and then 6 points. Those, incidentally, were both top Big East programs.

So bottom line. I'd be surprised if USF wants to play UCF anytime soon. I wouldn't!

And TopCoog got ripped up for it... just because someone else does it first doesn't make it okay for it to happen again. It is childish and stupid.

USF does not mant to play UCF in any sport. USF thinks they are equals to UF, FSU and Miami. Not sure why, but that is their mentality.

2. Derwin Kitchens 6’4 Raines (Florida)
3. Adrian Thomas 6’7 Flanagan (Miami)

It took Big East membership to sign that? Yikes, where were you picking up your recruits before the Big East, the local nursing home? And who on earth says that you have the best recruiting class in Florida? I want a source.
