RE: SEC Football Predictions
Crap... Had a chance at the end. We need the offense to step up. Hopefully we can figure out some kind of consistency at the QB position. Our defense looked great.
Goodnight all.

SEC Football Predictions
Offensives in the SEC looked anemic save for Bama. No QB's or a lack of development from the position. If I was Chubb or Fornette I would give serious thought to getting out of this season. Those two are going to be the very definition of the term work horse.

Clearly L.S.U. had done nothing innovative in the off season, nor had they developed their QB. With 3 minutes to play you take the sack, or run for what you can get. You don't throw it up for grabs inside the opponents 30 while trailing by 2.
I think Les checked out last year and that his agent is going to milk the buyout for L.S.U. to get rid of him. Why? Because it is the same agent that represented Tubberville in his last year at Auburn and he used Tubby's under-performance and lack of concern to negotiate a larger severance.

Ours looks very poor for the first quarter and a half with nothing but punts. Then we found the QB.

It will be interesting to see what the best team money can buy will do against the Noles. So far I'd say we have a boat load of A.D.'s that should be fired for the hires they've made and the money they've squandered.
If you don't have a QB that can distribute the ball and you recruit the Southeast how can you not find at least a "game manager" if not a star? The truth is many of these kids could be turned into decent game managers if it weren't for coaches who don't deserve the title of "coach", because either they obviously can't coach, or are too distracted or lazy to do so.
Recruiting has turned into a 24/7/364 job. Obviously player development and game preparation has taken a back seat and there is a whole lot of laurel resting going on.
Georgia showed some promise. I can't tell about Florida yet. Tennessee has improved, but has a lot of room for growth and in the key positions has not improved at all.
Saban teaches. Les once taught but apparently not anymore. The rest of them may be just stealing 2 to 3 million a year from the taxpayers of our respective states.

Not sure how it works at other schools but at Scar only a small portion of the head coaches salary is state money. I believe 500k of Muschamps 3 million is state, the rest comes from the booster club.
